Expression of Interest for Consulting Services for Assessment of Opportunities for Adoption of Artificial Inteligence Based Solutions in Administrative Processes of the Joint Research Centre. The aim of the contract is to provide the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission with consulting services for the assessment of opportunities for adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) based solutions in administrative processes. Specifically, the contract foresees the following four main tasks: 1) Development of a comprehensive AI assessment methodology. 2) Practical testing across at least one use-case per activity (the identified activities are: Site infrastructure, development, maintenance and operations; Logistics and document management; Health and safety at work; Security; Care for the environment; Social support and wellbeing; Site representation; Other Horizontal processes; Procurement, contracts and finance). 3) High-level AI tool analysis and recommendations. 4) Assessment of organizational processes based on the mapping of activities. The key features of the requested tasks are: a) Market-Informed Approach: the expected deliverables must reflect current industry trends where AI adoption in public procurement is accelerating, with careful attention to transparency and responsible implementation as highlighted in recent policy developments. b) Comprehensive Deliverable Structure: the four-deliverable framework must ensure practical methodology development, real-world testing, tool analysis, and complete organizational assessment within the 3-month contract duration. c) Risk Management Focus: given the evolving nature of AI regulation and implementation challenges, the tasks must include robust risk assessment requirements and legal and ethical compliance frameworks. d) Scalable Methodology: the approach must ensure that the developed methodology can be adapted across different public administration contexts while maintaining standardized assessment criteria.
