Tenders are invited for Supply of Mercury and Arsenic Guard Beds Adsorbent for Naphtha and Lpg in No.1 and 2 Saturated Gas Plants Tender Type: To Be Opened Tender Description: Saturated Gas Plant (SGP) in Bapco Refining produces Propane (C3), Butane (C4) and light naphtha as main products. These products contain Mercury (Hg) and Arsenic (As) contamination, due to presence of these heavy metals in crude which is processed in Bapco Refining. To meet Platts specification (less than 1 wppb) for Hg and As contaminants in naphtha and LPG streams, these heavy metal are removed in guard beds. An efficient and reliable performance of these adsorbents is required for profitable operation of the refinery. Bidders shall propose adsorbents suitable for the service and should achieve a cycle life of minimum 6 years. Bidder shall also offer support services during adsorbent loading and technical support for troubleshooting the performance issues during the service life of adsorbents.
