Work Detail

Tenders are invited for Production of a 9-Minute Documentary Film About the Association and the Project: The Teacher Creativity Center Association is a Palestinian non-governmental, non-profit, and registered institution primarily dedicated to enhancing the social outcomes of qualitative education in Palestine, the Middle East, and North Africa. This transforms education goals and strategies to be more responsive to the developmental needs of their communities, including the social outcomes of qualitative education, which aligns with the fourth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG4) and Article 26 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and the outcomes of the 1993 Vienna Programs for Action. The social outcomes of education can be understood as those outcomes where education plays a fundamental role in enhancing them socially, according to international documents mentioned above, including: inclusiveness, social responsibility, citizenship, equality, well-being, respect for international law and human rights, global citizenship, a culture of dialogue and non-violence, mutual understanding, respect for cultural diversity, tolerance, and friendship with all nations and ethnic and religious groups, and reducing unemployment. The Association works locally, regionally, and internationally with all parties concerned with education in Palestine, the Middle East, and North Africa, so that planning for education in these countries becomes participatory and based on rights and results, directed towards achieving the outcomes of qualitative education. This is done through empowering all segments and sectors of society to be capable of participating in the planning and oversight of policies and ensuring their implementation. The Association also works with partners to transform Palestinian schools and universities, with all their administrative, educational, and student cadres, into positive change agents in society, in a way that enhances the educational outcomes mentioned above. In this context, the Association works on building the capacities of teachers, principals, and students in several related fields, and on improving the school environment to become a safe environment contributing to achieving the social outcomes of qualitative education. It also works on developing and improving educational infrastructure to achieve these outcomes. About the Project: Since July 1, 2025, until June 30, 2026, the Teacher Creativity Center Association, in partnership with WeWorld and funded by the Akelius Foundation, is implementing the project RISE - Safe, Inclusive, and Flexible Education for Children Affected by Conflict in Palestine. This project aims to improve mental health and access to high-quality, inclusive, and safe education for 15,760 children and adolescents from conflict-affected communities in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. This is achieved through 21st-century skills and social-emotional learning skills, psychosocial support services, and rehabilitation of infrastructure for targeted schools. The project activities will target teachers and principals from 12 educational forums in the Gaza Strip and 10 schools in the northern West Bank, in addition to parents/caregivers. About the Activity: Production and filming of a 9-minute documentary film for the project activities RISE - Safe, Inclusive, and Flexible Education for Children Affected by Conflict in Palestine to achieve the following objectives: Documenting the severe violations that the education sector in Palestine is exposed to as a result of the prevailing economic, social, and political conditions and violations of human rights, especially the right of the Palestinian human to access safe, inclusive, and flexible education under the prevailing conditions. Promoting these violations locally, regionally, and internationally with the aim of increasing pressure on all parties to stop these violations and resume the political process leading to a sustainable peace. Increasing funding opportunities for education in Palestine, especially in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, particularly in emergency situations in every aspect, which will reduce the gap related to educational loss resulting from the prevailing circumstances. Enhancing the presence of both the Akelius Foundation, the funding entity for the project, and WeWorld, the main partner, and the implementing partner Teacher Creativity Center Association as key active entities working to enhance the right to education and the social outcomes of education in general and rapid response in emergency situations in the West Bank and Gaza Strip to close the gap related to educational loss resulting from the prevailing economic, social, and political conditions in Palestine. Filming start and end dates: From September 1, 2025, until March 30, 2026, filming must be completed. Tender Link : https://www.jobs.ps/en/tenders
