Train Data Collectors: Rigorously train a team of qualified and culturally sensitive data collectors on the finalized data collection tool, survey methodologies, ethical considerations (e.g., informed consent, data privacy), and effective communication techniques to ensure consistent and high-quality data acquisition. Data Collection in Target Areas: Systematically deploy the trained data collection team to all designated project target areas, ensuring representative coverage of various farmer segments (e.g., smallholders, women farmers, youth farmers) and adherence to the agreed-upon methodology. Ensure Data Quality and Integrity: Implement robust quality control measures throughout the data collection process, including daily data review, spot checks, back-checks, and addressing any inconsistencies or errors promptly to guarantee the accuracy, reliability, and completeness of the collected data. Provide Progress Reports and Challenges: Regularly report on the progress of data collection activities, highlight any encountered challenges or bottlenecks, and propose practical solutions to ensure the timely completion of the profiling initiative within the stipulated timeframe and budget. 3. Scope of the Assignment The projects geographical coverage is extensive, encompassing seven regions of Ethiopia: Amhara, Oromia, Central Ethiopia, South Ethiopia, Sidama, and Tigray. Within these regions, data collection will specifically target 50 selected woredas. 4. Interested and eligible consulting firms may submit expressions of interest to Agricultural Transformation Institute (ATI) in two copies indicating that they are qualified to perform the services. 5. The shortlisting criteria are: Core business and years in business Type of business Years in business Qualifications in the field of the assignment General Experience Experience in project of similar nature and complexity Technical and managerial organization of the firm Managerial and Technical Organization Setup of the firm General qualifications and number of key Staff. Number of key experts of the firm (not proposed key staffs for the project) Staff composition and qualification 6. Consulting firms which would like to participate in association shall indicate the form of association specifically as sub-consultancy or joint Venture.
