    Part 1 - Purchase/Delivery Of Road Salt Salt For Winter Road Maintenance 1. The Employer Determines The Following Qualitative Requirements Relating To At Least The Main Elements That Make Up The Subject Of The Contract (Road Salt): • Nacl Content Min. 90%• Water Content Max. 3%• Potassium Iron Content 20 Mg/Kg - 40 Mg/Kg • Content Of Water Insoluble In Water - Max. 8% • Crystalline Form, Loose, White Or White-Gray • Grain Composition Of Salt:  Up To 10% Grains <0.18 Mm,  30% ÷ 50% Grains <1 Mm,  35% ÷ 60% Grains In The Range 1 ÷ 6 Mm Mm Mm To 5% Grains ˃ 6 Mm  0% Grains ˃ 8 Mmlub Salt Grain According To Pn-En 16811-1: 2016-10:  Up To 7% Grains <0.125Mm,  5%- 35% Grains <0.8 Mm,  10%- 60% Grains <1.6 Mm,  45%- 90% Grains <3.15 Mm,  100% Grains <6.3Mm (Tolerance 2% Grains In The Range From 6.3 Mm To 8) Pn-86/C-84081/02 2. Estimated Maximum Order: Up To 1200 Tons 3. Minimum Order Size: 400 Tons
