Teaching In Hazardous Waste Handling . Description Vestfold And Telemark Will Acquire Subject Teacher Resources For The Implementation Of Teaching In The Subject The Green Change And Environmental And Waste Law. The Course Will Provide The Following Learning Outcomes: The Green Shift: The Teaching Shall Specify The Society And Industrys Facilitation For A Circular Economy As A Basic And Lasting Change. The Starting Point Is The Global Challenges, And Insights And Understanding Of Regulatory Requirements As Well As Necessary Adjustments In The Value Chain From Product To Waste, Challenges And Opportunities In This Life Cycle (Value Chain Understanding) Are Provided. Including The Needs Of Knowledge About, Among Other Things. Chemistry And The Properties Of The Materials Related Waste Management. The Teaching Will Create A Frame Of Reference For The Students Study And The Professional Functions Education Qualifies For. Environment And Waste Law: Teaching Should Create An Overall Understanding Of The Functions Of The Rules Related To Hse, Responsibility And Roles. The Legal Framework For Waste Treatment And Handling Is Reviewed Including Responsibilities And Criminal Conditions. The Relationship With The Clp Regulations And The Transport Regulations Are Dealt With. Understanding The Regulatory Conditions And Their Effect In The Work For A Green Shift Should Be Created. The Green -Shifted Knowledge • The Student Should Be Able To Explain Central Goals And Developments In Environmental Policy Globally, European And National In General As Well As Goals And Development In Hazardous Waste In Particular. The Student Should Also Understand What Lies In The Goals Of An Environmentally Friendly Restructuring Of Industry And Business And How Environmental Policy And Hazardous Waste Policy Affect The Industrial Companies. Skills • The Student Can Find Information And Subject Material In The Norwegian And European Authorities, Industry Associations, Etc. Which Is Relevant Regarding Hazardous Waste. • The Student Can Apply Knowledge Of Goals And Trends In Environmental Policy And Hazardous Waste Policy To Identify Challenges And Possible Measures In Their Own Company. General Competence • The Student Has A Basic Understanding Of How Environmental Policy And Hazardous Waste Policy Are Designed, Adopted, Enforced And Followed Up In The Industry / Business • The Student Can Build Relationships And Have Professional Discussions On The Follow -Up Of Environmental Policy And Pollution Regulations With Colleagues In Both The Company And The Industry. Environment And Waste Rights Knowledge The Student Is To Understand The Need To Regulate Waste Through Laws And Regulations • Must Be Aware Of The Central Regulations For The Management Of Waste, Including The Pollution Control Act, The Waste And Pollution Regulations And The Internal Control Regulations • Shall Know How The International Regulations Affect The Norwegian Regulations On The Norwegian Regulations. • Must Have Knowledge Of The Key Requirements For Handling Hazardous Waste At All Stages Of The Treatment Chain. • Must Have Knowledge Of The Principles For The Classification Of Waste • Must Have Knowledge Of The Criminal Liability Of Incorrect Handling Of Hazardous Waste, Etc. Skills The Student • Should Be Able To Know Where To Find Relevant Information About The Regulations When Processing Waste. • Should Be Able To Find Relevant Regulations For Handling And Treatment Of Waste. • Must Be Able To Identify Basic Legal Issues Related To Their Own Work When Handling Waste, So That The Candidate Can Avoid Getting Into Situations Where The Regulations Are Broken. • Should Be Able To Use The General Principles Of Handling Hazardous Waste In Unknown Situations That Arise At The Workplace. General Competence The Student • Can Orient Themselves In The Regulations Related To The Handling Of Waste And Hazardous Waste • Can Perform Their Own Work In Accordance With The Regulations • Can Identify Work Operations Or Situations That Can Potentially Be Contrary To The Regulations • Can Tell And Notify Their Own Activities That Can Potentially Involve An Environmental And Health Hazard In Contravention Of The Regulations: Teaching Classrooms Or Via Web-Based Solutions • Preparation Of Submission Tasks And / Or Work Requirements • To Provide Feedback To Students In A Suitable Way, And In Line With Regular Practice, Within The Fixed Period Of Two Weeks After The Submission Deadline Be Able To Utilize This Appropriately • To Participate In Meeting Activities For Coordination Of Teaching, And Participate In Other Interactions In The Staff To The Necessary Extent For Information Exchange And Planning • To Prepare The Course Report After Completing The Teaching In The Course, Or To Participate In The Preparation If It Is Taught In Sub -Subjects.
