Tenders are invited for Capacity Building on Fundraising and Proposal Writing. Oxfam is an international confederation counting 19 organizations working together with partners and local communities in more than 90 countries. Oxfam has been working in the Occupied Palestinian Territories since the 1950s; a country office was established in Jerusalem in the 1980s. Oxfam mainly works in the most vulnerable communities in Gaza, East Jerusalem, and Area C. · Scope of Work The consultant will be expected to engage with organizations before and after the training sessions for maximum impact. · Review partners existing practices and capacities in fundraising and proposal writing. Taking into consideration that the targeted partners are small WROs · Design a tailored training program (including practical exercises and templates, coaching and donors mapping exercise). · Deliver training sessions (in-person or remote, depending on location) The trainer is supposed to provide details in the technical offer on how they will work with partners both in Gaza and the West Bank. · Provide individual coaching or mentoring sessions to each of the six partners. · Expected Results By the end of the consultancy, the following results are expected: 1. Partners understand the features of a logical, well-designed project including the following: · Partners are familiar with the steps and activities required to ensure good project design. · Partners understand the process and key components of a strong funding proposal. · Partners can assess whether their proposed interventions align with donor priorities and thematic areas. · Partners are able to develop high-quality applications, with a strong focus on the Theory of Change. · Partners understand and are able to develop relevant and appropriate project budgets. · Partner organizations have a clear understanding of due diligence requirements and the practical steps needed to comply with them. 2. Support each partner in developing either a two-page pitch or a full concept note that can be used to approach donors or apply for funding opportunities. 3. Facilitate the analysis and mapping of potential donors and funding opportunities tailored to each partners mandate and strategic priorities. Deliverables Work Plan: Methodology, training module, and timeline Training Sessions plans and content: Coaching/one- to - one: Individual follow-up sessions with each partner. A report documenting progress, lessons learned, and recommendations for further capacity strengthening of partners. Pitches or developed proposals for each of the six partners.
