Tenders are invited for Sexual Reproductive Health Rights Advocacy Consultant Scope of Work This assignment focuses on the systematization of SRHR project experiences across 7 African countries. It will involve collecting, analyzing, and documenting lessons learned, best practices, challenges, and innovative approaches in SRHR advocacy and programming. The scope includes a desk review, consultations with country teams and partners, thematic analysis, and the drafting of a comprehensive systematization document. Objectives To capture and document the experiences and lessons learned from SRHR initiatives across participating countries. To identify best practices, common challenges, and context-specific innovations that can inform future SRHR advocacy and programming. Deliverables An inception notes outlining the scope, methodology, and work plan. A draft systematization document summarizing findings, lessons, and best practices. A final systematization document, incorporating workshop inputs, with a clear structure (context, lessons, best practices, recommendations). A concise, accessible version of the document (executive summary and visual brief) for wider dissemination. Timeline The assignment will be for a span of two months, during which the consultant will undertake the desk review, analysis, and report preparation, adhering to set deadlines for deliverables. Regular check-ins with the Commissioning Manager (Interim Gender Justice Lead) and other relevant team members will ensure alignment with Oxfams goals and expectations. Qualifications and Requirements Educational Background Masters degree or higher in a relevant field such as Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Humanitarian studies, Environmental Science, Development Studies, or related disciplines. Professional Experience Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Gender Justice programming and research with any additional expertise in Sexual Reproductive Health rights Proven experience conducting desk reviews, systematization documents and synthesis of complex information related to gender justice and SRHR Familiarity with African contexts, particularly in In Uganda, Ethiopia, Ghana, Senegal, Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia Knowledge and Skills Strong understanding of the SRHR thematic in Africa. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize information from diverse sources and produce clear, action-oriented reports and policy briefs. Knowledge of gender justice programming, legal and policy frameworks, and advocacy strategies Familiarity with existing research methodologies, particularly around qualitative data analysis and thematic assessments.
