Work Detail

Tenders are invited for Consulting Firm Terms of Reference for Tracer Study for Component 3. Scope of Work 6. The Consulting firm will conduct a tracer survey, spanning four rounds of data collection, covering at least 40% of the total completed trainees and employers in total, to collect detailed information on employment outcomes of the SBJ project beneficiaries. 7. The tracer study will focus on the following areas of inquiry: i. Identifying Employment Outcomes: The survey will collect data on the employment status of beneficiaries, including whether they are employed, the duration it took to find employment, and the types of jobs they have secured. ii. Assessing the Impact on Income: The survey will evaluate the impact of the training programs on beneficiaries income levels and other economic benefits, such as job stability and career advancement opportunities. iii. Evaluating Training Relevance and Effectiveness: The survey will assess the relevance, effectiveness, and sustainability of the training programs in meeting the needs of the labor market. iv. Identifying Job Placement Appropriateness: The survey will determine whether the jobs secured by beneficiaries are related to the skills they acquired during the training. v. Assessing Skill Utilization: The survey will evaluate the extent to which beneficiaries are utilizing the skills and knowledge gained during the training in their current jobs. vi. Evaluating Further Education or Training: The survey will gather information on whether beneficiaries have pursued further education or training after completing the SBJ training programs. vii. Gathering Feedback on Training Experiences: The survey will collect feedback from beneficiaries on their experiences and learning with the training programs. viii. Understanding Reasons for Dropouts: The survey will investigate the reasons why some beneficiaries dropped out of the training programs, providing insights for improving program implementation.
