Jhpiego is implementing a Global Fund-supported Advancing Integrated Health Service Delivery for Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and communicable disease intervention in Anambra, Ebonyi, Gombe, and Kwara states, Nigeria. Jhpiego seeks to engage a reputable CSO in each of the project states to work with, as stated below. Interested CSOs and community-based organizations are encouraged to read the entire document to ensure that they have a clear understanding of Jhpiegos requirements before submitting bids. 1.1 Scope of Services The CSO has the capacity to provide the following services: Collaborate with health facilities and implementing partners to ensure integrated service delivery across Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and communicable disease services Mobilize communities to increase awareness and demand for comprehensive SRHR services across all population groups through integrated health services Facilitate access to testing, counselling, and care services for adolescents, young people, and key populations Strengthen referral and linkage systems across SRHR and communicable diseases service delivery points Promote stigma reduction and human rights-based approaches in service delivery Build capacity of CSOs, local organizations, and healthcare workers as the need arises Promote gender equality and womens empowerment Foster community ownership of SRHR and communicable diseases prevention and response Strengthen data collection, reporting, and monitoring systems for improved monitoring and learning 2.1 OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES ARE AS FOLLOWS: Engage community gatekeepers and influencers (traditional, religious, women, and youth) leaders as champions Conduct monthly sensitization meetings with community and religious leaders to foster local ownership, support, and sustainability Engage with community health committees to strengthen services at the PHCs Disseminate harmonized SRHR messaging through community channels, including local media, influencers, and peer educators. Train and deploy community volunteers and peer educators to support outreach and service uptake. Maintain accurate records of outreach, testing, and linkage activities. Participate in review meetings and provide data for project evaluations. Ensure confidentiality and ethical standards in all engagements. Establish routine/regular reporting mechanisms (activity, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually) as applicable Submit monthly progress reports to the State Project Coordinator Share quarterly narrative reports highlighting successes, challenges, and lessons learned. Document and disseminate success stories- monthly/quarterly Develop a comprehensive communication strategy and participate in knowledge-sharing platforms Collaborate with relevant government health departments Collaborate with health facilities and implementing partners to ensure service integration Partner with other CSOs and development organizations as applicable Collaborate with relevant implementing partners and entities for synergy and greater impact Participate in joint planning and review meetings at state, local government, and community-level coordination mechanisms and platforms 3.1 CONTRACT DURATION 12months at the first instance 4.1 ELIGIBILITY All applicants should provide the following. The Civil Society Organization (CSO) must be legally registered to operate in Nigeria and provide proof of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), a recognized management structure including a board of trustees, physical office address, organizational vision, mission goal(s) statements, and organogram made up of an integrated team of managerial, technical, and operations staff The Civil Society Organization (CSO) must be registered with relevant statutory authority (such as Tax, Penso etc) and must be in full compliance with applicable law Physical office is functional and adequately equipped with (furniture, telephone, computers, relevant software packages, etc.), with official telephone and email addresses The application should include the names and CVs of the key personnel associated with the CSO. Evidence of work experience implementing donor-funded projects in the last 3-5 years. The CSO has evidence of government tax payments, a staff payee account, and registration with relevant tax authorities Minimum of three (3) reputable references active within the last three years from clients/organizations CSO has proven experience in integrating SRHR and communicable diseases and community health programming. Demonstrated knowledge of the local context, networks, and strong community presence in any of the target states. Experience in data collection, reporting, and the use of strategic information tools Capacity to manage community-level interventions, including stakeholder engagement at the state, local government, and community levels Ability to mobilize and train community volunteers and peer educators. Commitment to human rights, gender equity, and confidentiality Familiarity with donor-funded health programs and reporting requirements. 5.1 SUBMISSION PROCESS Interested Applicants should request proposal submission templates from Ng-procurement@jhpiego.org.
