Tenders are invited for Trainers - Capacity Building Program for CBOs in Damascus. Closing Date: 6 Sep 2025 Type: Consultancy About Mari Research and Development (MRD): Mari Research and Development (MRD) is a licensed non-profit organization working across northern Syria and Damascus in the fields of peacebuilding, civil dialogue, livelihoods, capacity building, and civil society incubation. MRD is launching a comprehensive capacity-building program for emerging Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and grassroots initiatives in Damascus. Objective of the Training: As part of this program, MRD is seeking qualified trainers/consultants to deliver specialized training modules to selected CBOs hosted within Maris incubation framework. Trainings will take place at MRDs Damascus Office. Training Topics (one or more): Applicants may apply to deliver training in one or more of the following thematic areas: Procurement & Logistics Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Human Resources & Compliance Governance & Internal Policies Donor Relations & Grant Compliance Financial Management & Compliance Media & Visibility Strategy Programs Management Trainer Responsibilities: Develop a tailored training curriculum (including agenda, presentations, exercises, and reference materials). Deliver interactive and practice-oriented sessions to targeted CBO participants. Provide post-training evaluation tools and reporting (training report, attendance sheets, pre/post-test analysis). Coordinate with MRDs Capacity Building Coordinator for alignment with organizational standards. Qualifications Required: Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in the selected technical area. Demonstrated track record of delivering trainings, preferably in the humanitarian or civil society sector. Strong facilitation and adult learning methodologies. Fluency in Arabic (training delivery language); English proficiency is an asset. Availability to conduct in-person sessions in Damascus.
