Request for Information for Security Services COPE OF WORK a. Ensure 24-hour man guarding service at Samaritans Purse Mankien Field Base. Main gate Roving patrol b. Provide 24-hour QRF (Quick Reaction Force) service to respond to any emergency as required. c. Submit Weekly and Monthly Situational Security Summaries for Mankien and Unity State situational security summaries. The service provider will also provide quarterly risk assessments of Mankien and Unity State. This information will be sent to the (SP) Country Security Manager. Examples to be submitted during the tender process. Failing to submit an example will disqualify you immediately. d. Ensure that security officials on all sites are always equipped with proper security equipment such as a baton, radios and torch-light etc. (provided by the security provider) e. To comply with Standard Operation Procedures for 1 post. Post 1 - Mankien Field Base Main Gate Site specific instructions for access control to address the movement of personnel, vehicles and equipment entering and leaving the premises. Issue of inReach tracking devices to all SP vehicles leaving the field base. Responsible to ensure the inReach devices are fully charge. Fire detection Action to be taken when confronting a suspect Emergency procedures and action to be taken upon any emergency Monthly re-training - Samaritans Purse security team to be present Management and supervision on a daily basis from security provider Replacement of officials due to any reason, and of absentees. Check the removal and movement of incoming/outgoing equipment and items. Keep records of items going out of or coming into the Field Base Verify that all gates are properly locked and those left open inadvertently are properly locked, and reported thereafter. Provide trained, equipped and qualified security personnel, with reasonable knowledge of an international language (English). Provide a larger alarm system to alert the SP Personnel of an incident at the Field Bases. Adhere to all national and local legislation regarding the legalization of the company, taxes, labor practice and any other regulation relevant to the security industry Conduct ad hoc inspections to ensure that all services are guaranteed by the security guards of the company. Ensure all vehicle on premises are locked and if not report to the SP manager in charge. Control of vehicle access into and out of the Field Base facilities. Ensure timely payment of salaries of the guards posted at the Samaritans Purse Mankien Field Base. The ministry reserves the right to impose a penalty to the security contractor should the delay in payment of salaries to the guards result in poor service quality. Ensure that the guards posted at the Field Base are properly dressed in uniforms to portray a good image to visitors. When the guard is finish with his patrol he will support the guard at the main gate. Provision of Plumbing Services at the SAMARITANS PURSE (SP) BASE. The work shall include the supply of such incidental personnel, equipment, materials, and consumables as shall be necessary. Plumbing Services Estimated 24-36 hours per month Undertake general supervision and maintain the flow and drainage of water, air, and other gases by assembling, installing, and repairing pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures. Ensure the safe condition and operation of all plumbing systems in district facilities. Coordinate, troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain plumbing equipment, such as lavatories, toilets, flush valves, sinks, water heaters, drinking fountains, domestic faucets, boilers, garbage disposals, backflow devices, valves, and water meters. Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs in district facilities, including domestic water systems, related devices, and sanitary waste drainage. Repair or replace water lines, domestic recirculation lines, and sewer lines. Respond to emergency plumbing calls, such as blocked drains, broken water lines, frozen pipes, gas odors, install new plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, urinals, faucets, drinking fountains, garbage disposals, domestic water heaters, and related devices. Duration of employment: On-call service for 1 year. Place of work: Samaritans Purse base in Juba and project sites, as required. All travelling and accommodation arrangements will be provided by the project site support. Service Fee: Will be paid based on the agreed hourly rate. (Late bids will be immediately disqualified) Samaritans Purse South Sudan does not bind itself to award the tender to the lowest bidder and reserves the right to award the whole or part of this tender. The included quantities are estimates, but Samaritans Purse reserves the right to purchase less than the estimated quantity. The actual amount purchased in 2026 could be greater or lesser than the estimate provided. In some cases, estimated quantities are not provided and therefore should be quoted for at suppliers best price possible 2. Provisional Timetable · Following submission and evaluation of bids, suppliers will be vetted and selected in Q4 of 2025, and awards will be issued by the end of the year (this timetable is subject to change). · FWAs will be active through January 1, 2026 (or at the time of signing, which may be later or earlier than this date) to December 31, 2026. 3.
