Request for proposals for Procurement of Auditing Service for Saint Joseph Hospital / Jerusalem. Saint Joseph Hospital, a non-profit healthcare institution managed by the Congregation of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of the Apparition and located in East Jerusalem, is well-known for its dedication to delivering high-quality medical care grounded in humanitarian values. The hospital serves a diverse population, offering essential healthcare services such as maternity, surgery, and intensive care. In partnership with the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), and Saint Joseph Hospital, a major development project has been launched to enhance the hospitals operational sustainability. The new phase of development will be implemented in East Jerusalem with a total allocated budget of USD 32,072,243. The project contract was officially signed on December 9, 2024, with implementation till December 31, 2028. This phase is being conducted under a co-financing framework formalized with key funding partners. The project encompasses a wide range of activities, including excavation and foundation works (retaining walls, piles), construction of a new hospital wing and a connecting bridge between the existing and new buildings, renovation and modernization of existing facilities, technical training and continuing education for staff and institutional development and capacity-building interventions. Saint Joseph Hospital is now inviting proposals from certified, legally registered auditing firm with international affiliations to provide comprehensive auditing services for the entire project period. The audit will assess project financial performance, internal controls, and compliance with relevant regulations across all parties. Audit must be conducted and reported in accordance with the International Standard on Auditing. Each audit cycle must include a comprehensive management letter along with managements responses. The selected audit firm will be engaged under a fixed cost contract, to over the entire project period. Costs should be quoted in Shekel (NIS) inclusive of VAT, and any other applicable taxes as well as all direct and indirect expenses.
