    Tenders are invited for Earth Observation-Based Agricultural Innovations in Nigeria. This tender supports the implementation of EO Application Innovation in Nigeria under the European Space Agency - European Commissions DG-INTPA Contribution Agreement, with a focus on deploying Earth Observation (EO) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologiesto advance climate-smart agriculture in Nigeria. The project aims to enhance the machine learning (ML) and AI capabilities of the National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) and other federal agencies. It will provide specialized training to their personnel as well as key agricultural stakeholders, while co-developing an open-source Climate-Smart Information System (CSIS). This CSIS will integrate satellite EO data, IoT sensors, and predictive analytics in collaboration with NASRDA. Core activities include theestablishment of a Geospatial ML/AI Training Center (hardware), the design and delivery of targeted training, the deployment and validation of IoT tools across seven pilot farms, and the development of the EO-based CSIS supported by AI/ML and IoT technologies. Asan additional component of the project, a West Africa Space ML/AI-driven Agro-Climatic Resilience and Sustainability Conference will also need to be scoped, which will facilitate regional knowledge exchange and institutional collaboration.
