    The Municipality Of Delft And Stichting Basalt Jointly Carry Out A European Non-Public Tendering Procedure For The New Building For Basalt And For The Maurice Maeterlinckschool (Mms) In Delft. The Intended Location For The New Building Is The Kop Van Buitenhof In The Reinier De Graafbuurt And The Juniusbuurt. The New Building Must Be Realized On The Sports Fields Next To The Grotius College. The Municipality And Basalt Will Each Contract A Contractor For Themselves On The Basis Of The Preliminary Design+ Who, Together With The Design Team In Bouwteam, Participate In The Elaboration Of The Design For Mms And The Design For Basalt And Which Can Then Realize The Respectively New Construction. The Aim Is To Integrate The Knowledge Of The Contractor Early In The Design And Process. An Important Starting Point Is That The New Construction Of Basalt And The New Construction Of Mms Can Be Put Into Use Simultaneously. It Is Also Aimed To Dedicate Multi -Year Maintenance To The Contractor. In The Total, The New Construction Project Includes Approximately 11,000 M2 Of New Construction For Basalt And Approximately 4,000 M2 For The Maurice Maeterlinckschool (A Total Of Approximately 15,000 M2 Gfa). In The Aforementioned Program Of Basalt There Are Approximately 80 Studios (Approx. 5,000 M2) That Must Be Included On The 2 Upper Floors Of The Basalt Building Component. The Studios Are Realized As Part Of Geriatric Rehabilitation And Fall Into Patient Rooms In Terms Of Typing. The Intended Tenant Of These Studios Is Pieter Van Foreest.
