Window Design And Specification: All Windows Must Be Designed And Specified To Meet Current Building Codes Including: Miami-Dade Hurricane Rating Compliance Emergency Egress Requirements Where Applicable Energy Efficiency Standards Department Of Environmental Health (Deh) Environmental Standards Bcu Construction Guidelines C. Supply And Installation: The Contractor Must Supply And Install 477 Compliant Windows Across Occupied Buildings (Excludes D1, D2, D3, D4, And C1 Buildings), Including: Complete Removal Of Existing Sealed Windows Installation Of New Hurricane-Rated Windows With Proper Weatherproofing Restoration Of Emergency Egress Capability Proper Building Envelope Sealing To Prevent Water Ingress D. Project Management And Coordination: Installation Work Must Be Coordinated Around School Operations And Academic Calendar, With Evening/Weekend Scheduling As Required To Minimize Educational Disruption. E. Compliance And Certification: The Contractor Must Ensure All Installations Meet Building Codes And Provide Necessary Certifications And Final Inspections. F. Documentation: The Contractor Must Supply The Client With All System Design Drawings, As-Built Drawings, Warranty Documentation, And Maintenance Manuals. G. Quality Assurance: Implementation Of Comprehensive Inspection Protocols To Verify Installation Quality, Weatherproofing, And Operational Functionality. Installation Phasing: The Project Will Be Implemented In Phases Focusing On Buildings With The Worst Quality And Missing Windows First, With Installation Spread Between 2025 And 2026 To Optimize Resource Allocation And Minimize Disruption
