The Newtown Road Phase 2 (Racecourse To Hospital Junction) And Phase 3 (Hospital Junction To Bayview) Scheme Consists Of The Following: -- Reallocation Of The Existing Road, Narrowing Carriageway To Provide The Following: --A 2.0M (Narrows In Width In Sections) Wide Raised Cycletrack On Both Sides Of The Road; -- Widening/Overlay/Modification Of The Existing Footpath -- Raised Crossings On The Side Roads -- Bus Shelters And/Or Bus Bays At Suitable Locations -- Controlled And Uncontrolled Crossing Facilities -- Raised Entry Treatment Crossings At The Junctions -- New Surface Water Connections To The Existing Drainage System Will Be Provided -- Relocation Of Existing Public Lighting Columns -- Utility And Other Services Will Be Provided/Protected/Relocated/Diverted -- New Road Lining, Signage, Hard And Soft Landscaping, Boundary Treatments (Accommodation Works) Etc. Will Be Provided -- Other Works Associated With The Above Will Also Be Undertaken.
