The North Jutland Region Wants To Offer A Contract Regarding Delivery Of Equipment And Related Services For Supplementary Automation To The Analysis Hall In Aalborg University Hospital, Hospital City. The Supply Relates To The Purchase Of Three Solutions (One Basic Configuration And Two Delivery Options) That Automate Manual Handling Of Samples. The Contract Also Relates To Related Services, Spare Parts And Education Regarding Equipped. Development Regarding The Analysis Hall And The Manual Handling Of Samples That Are Desired To Be Automated: The Joint Analysis Hall Is New Aalborg University Hospitals Multi -Professional, Common Laboratory, Which Provides Analyzes In Biochemistry, Immunology, Microbiology And Pathology. Here, Up To 500,000 Samples Will Be Handled Each Month. Most Samples Of Blood, Urine And Other Body Fluids Arrive At The Analysis Hall With Pipe Post And Are Automatically Placed On The Analysis Halls Transport System-A Glp Track. On This Track, Small Vehicles (Icars,) Carry The Tests Individually To The Appliances And Processes That The Individual Tests Must Visit. In Most Cases, The Individual Test Is Not Affected By Human Hand From It Arriving In The Analysis Hall And Until It Can Be Discarded After The End Of The Analysis. The System Is Controlled By Software, Which In The Laboratory World Is Often Referred To As Middleware And Which Communicates With The Relevant Lims (Laboratory Information Management Systems) About What Will Happen To The Individual Test. Not All Analysis Equipment Can Be Connected To The Glp Track. The Samples To Be Analyzed On Such Equipment Must Therefore Be Transported Manually Between I/O Modules On The Glp Track And The Analysis Equipment. In Addition, Some Samples Will Arrive At The Analysis Hall Manually (Not Per Pipe Post) And Other Samples Will Need To Be Forwarded From The Analysis Hall To Other Laboratories. In These Cases, Too, The Samples Will Have To Be Handled Manually. It Is This Manual Handling Of Samples That Is Desired To Be Automated With The Solutions Offered.
