National Risk Management Specialist On Drinking Water And Wastewater Systems . National Risk Management Specialist On Drinking Water And Wastewater Systems This Requirement Is For: The Correctional Service Of Canada (Csc) All Regions Across Canada. Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (Cfta), Canada Free Trade Agreements With Chile/Colombia/Honduras/Panama And Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement. Policy On Reciprocal Procurement: This Solicitation Is Open Only To Canadian Suppliers And To Suppliers Of An Applicable Trading Partner. Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest Priced Compliant Bid. Set-Aside Under The Procurement Strategy For Indigenous Business: This Procurement Is Not Subject To Any Set-Asides For Indigenous Suppliers. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This Procurement Is Not Subject To A Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement. Security Requirements: This Contract Does Not Include Security Requirements. Nature Of Requirements: The Following Is A Summary Of The Statement Of Work For This Requirement. The Correctional Service Of Canada (Csc) Has A Requirement To Manage Risk And Ensure Compliance Of Its Potable Water (Treatment And Distribution) And Wastewater Systems (Collection And Treatment) With Applicable Federal, Provincial And Municipal Legislation, And Departmental Policies And Standards For Potable Water And Wastewater At Its Facilities Across Canada. Csc Is Responsible For Its Drinking Water Infrastructure Including Nine Treatment Systems (Class I-Iii), Reservoirs And Distribution Systems. Csc Is Also Responsible For The Management Of Its Wastewater Infrastructure Including The Collection Systems And Operation Of Fourteen Wastewater Treatment Systems (Class I, Ii, Iii). Objectives: To Provide Engineering And Technical Assistance In The Operation And Management Of Csc Institutions’ Potable Water And Wastewater Systems. Deliverables: The Contractor Must Provide The Following Services: A) Auditing Risk To Health And Environmental Compliance Of Drinking Water And Wastewater Systems To Identify, Mitigate And Prioritize Performance Risk Factors Using Industry Accepted Methodologies; B) Recommending, Developing And Assisting With The Implementation Of Risk And Quality Management Tools; C) Optimizing System Performance By Altering Process Inputs To Improve Drinking Water And Wastewater Treatment; D) Providing Engineering Guidance And Technical Support In Accordance With Guidelines, Policies And Regulations; E) Providing Recommendations To Repair Or Replace Faulty Equipment, Or Processes, Or Both; And F) Participating In Design Development To Retrofit Or Replace Treatment Systems, Or Both, Through The Review Process.
