    Work Detail

    Bcts Bc Bid Solicitation Standardthe Proposed Contract Is For Approximately 288.8 Hectares Of Excavator - Mechanical Site Preparation Within The Kamloops Business Area. Work Will Span Various Site Conditions, Including Operations In Remote Or Isolated Locations.Deliverables Will Be Scheduled For Completion Throughout The Fiscal Year In Alignment With Business Area Requirements And The Approved Work Progress Plan And Schedules. Specific Service Details Are Provided In Schedule A – Services.To Achieve The Targeted Number Of Prepared Planting Spots Per Hectare, A Combination Of Mechanical Treatment Methods May Be Employed As Outlined In Schedule B1 – Units Of Work. These Methods May Include:• Mounding In Wet Or Heavy Organic Areas• Screefing To Remove Competing Vegetation And Root Mats• Piling Heavy Slash Accumulations To Expose Plantable Mineral Soilquestions & Answersall Contract Related Questions Must Be Submitted In Writing Only To The Following Email Address: Forests.Kamloopstimbersalesoffice@Gov.Bc.Ca. Deadline For Receiving Questions Is 4:00 Pm Onaugust 27, 2025. If Questions Are Received, A Question & Answer Document Will Be Posted To Bc Bidby 4:00 Pm On August 29, 2025.
