Recognizing The Urgency Of This Matter, The International Labour Organization (Ilo) Is Implementing The Project Titled Promoting Employment And Employability Among Refugees, Internally Displaced Persons (Idps), And Host Communities Focusing On Women, Persons With Disabilities (Pwds), And Youth In Northern Iraq, Covering Ninawa And The Kurdistan Region Governorates Of Duhok, Erbil, And Sulaymaniyah. This Initiative Is Being Carried Out In Partnership With Deutsche Gesellschaft Für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (Giz). As Part Of The Projects Capacity-Building Efforts, 30 Trainers And 5 Master Trainers Have Been Trained And Are Currently Undergoing The Siyb (Start And Improve Your Business) Certification Process. These 30 Trainers Will Deliver Siyb Training To Micro, Small, And Medium-Sized Enterprises (Msmes) And Aspiring Entrepreneurs Across The Four Targeted Governorates. Additionally, The Project Aims To Train A Total Of 500 Entrepreneurs In Siyb Entrepreneurs And 300 Entrepreneurs In Financial Education (Fe) Training To Enhance Their Business Sustainability.
