The Equipment Is Needed To Support Distribution Civil Engineers Responding To Urgent Assessments, Post-Incident Investigations, And Planned Manhole Roof Replacements. With Over 2,300 Manholes Scheduled For Assessment And Increasing Urgent Cases Due To Aging Infrastructure, Bc Hydro Must Maintain In-House Scanning Capability Rather Than Relying On External Contractors. The Procurement Includes A Proceq Gp8800 Ground Penetrating Radar System With Wireless Ios Compatibility, Proceq Pm 8000 Electromagnetic Pulse System, Associated Accessories (Ipad Pro, Tripod, Telescopic Rod, Grid Paper), Plus Local Technical Support, Training, And Maintenance Services. Bc Hydro Intends To Direct Award This Contract To Hoskin Scientific Ltd. In Burnaby, Bc, As They Appear To Be The Only Certified Local Proceq Distributor Capable Of Providing The Required Technical Expertise And Ongoing Support.The Contract Is Expected To Be For An Initial Term Of (5) Years, Which May Be Extended For Up To (5) Year(S) Through One Or More Contract Extensions, For A Potential Total Term Of (10) Years.This Opportunity Is Subject To Chapter 5 Of The Canadian Free Trade Agreement.All Responses Should Be In English.
