Tenders are invited for Key Technology Study for Magnetic Isolation and Reduction in Airside PV Systems under Taiyuan Wusu Zero-carbon Airport Project financed by NDB Loan Scope of bidding: In accordance with the requirements and key indicators outlined in the 14th Five-Year Civil Aviation Development Plan and the 14th Five-Year Special Plan for Green Development of Civil Aviation jointly issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), and the Ministry of Transport of the Peoples Republic of China, Shanxi Province will, relying on the Taiyuan Wusu International Airport Phase III Reconstruction and Expansion Project, install photovoltaic power generation systems within the open and flat spaces of the airfield area to secure substantial renewable energy resources and meet the majority of the airports energy demands, thereby establishing a zero-carbon renewal demonstration project. Under the premise of ensuring safe airport operations, and to fully utilize the PV power generation facilities for the airports green and sustainable development while guaranteeing long-term stability and efficient operation of the photovoltaic system, this study will analyze the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) between the PV power generation facilities and the radio-communication equipment (including airport and aircraft communication, navigation, and surveillance systems). Specialized research will simultaneously be conducted to reduce the overall electromagnetic radiation levels of the photovoltaic power generation system within the flight area to sustained compliance with regulatory limits, culminating in an integrated EMC solution. This approach will reduce the cost and operational management complexity of the PV power generation system, thereby supporting the large-scale application of PV power generation systems in the airside areas of civil aviation airports.
