In Connection With A Fundamental Renovation Of The Building Substance, The Renovation Or Renewal Of The Technical Building Equipment, The Adaptation Of The Exhibition Areas To A Contemporary Standard And The Improvement Of The Infrastructure Of The Building For Visitors Should Also Be Fundamentally Redesigned By The Custody Areas Of The Museum. This Affects Both The Deposit Areas In The Existing Stock And The Additional Deposit Surface Needs, Which Are To Be Accommodated In An Extension. The Museum Currently Has Approximately 3,000 M² Depot Area, Which Is Mainly Housed In The Basement. It Is One Extension Planned By Approx. 1,500 M² At The Location.
