Tenders are invited for Baseline Studies for Safe Community for Children (Scc) in Samlout and Rukh Kiri Districts, Battambang Province (kh06-045) SCOPE OF WORK The project Safe Community for children requires a comprehensive baseline study to establish data, inform target setting and strengthen accountability. A consultant will lead this study, undertaking the following key responsibilities: 6 Refine baseline methodologies and develop tailored data collection instruments for each performance indicator. This includes both quantitative surveys and qualitative tools where needed. Propose and implement appropriate sampling strategies for various child protection stakeholders, ensuring a representative picture of the projects target areas. Gather baseline data across all performance indicators. This data will be disaggregated by gender, age, and disability where relevant. The consultant will also work with local child protection offices to integrate existing data. Through rigorous data analysis, the consultant will assess the status of key indicators, identify gaps and trends in the functional of child protection system, knowledge and practice of parent/caregivers toward safe environment for their children, and selfprotective strategies for children.
