Expression of Interest are invited for Private Capital Mobilization in South Africas Municipal Infrastructure The World Bank is assisting the Government of South Africa from different fronts, including technical assistance and lending operations, in improving the capacity of subnational governments in funding infrastructure and other services critical for economic development. The assessment planned under these ToRs is part of the activities informing World Bank teams on how to best support the Government of South Africa, including the current lending operation under preparation for a Credit Guarantee Vehicle (CGV) for infrastructure at both the national and sub-national level. The World Bank is seeking the services of a consulting firm to assess enabling environment gaps in South Africas subnational infrastructure ecosystem to mobilize private sector financing, as well as options of project pipeline that could inform and complement ongoing World Bank support to the Government of South Africa on the lending operation for a Credit Guarantee Vehicle (CGV).
