Bc Housing Reserves The Right, At Its Discretion, To Allow United States Based Suppliers To Respond, In The Event No Reasonable Alternatives Are Available.The Successful Bidder Must Cascade This Requirement To Subcontractors And Suppliers Engaged In The Performance Of The Resulting Contract. The Successful Bidder Shall Be Responsible For Verifying And Demonstrating Compliance With This Requirement And Shall Provide Evidence Of Such Compliance Upon Request By Bc Housing.The Scope Of Work For This Project Includes:Replacement Of Two (2) Existing Make-Up Air Units On Roof Of Building, With New Make-Up Air Units As Specifiedbuilding New Curbs On Roof To Support New Make-Up Air Units, As Specifiedinstalling New Grille And Fan To Provide Ventilation To Level 6 Refuge Area, As Specifiedinstalling New Electric Baseboard Heater In Level 6 Refuge Area, As Specifiedwe Expect Contractors To Start Construction As Soon As Possible After Award Of The Project. We Are Aware Of Long Lead Times For Mechanical Units Specified, So We Expect Contractors To Order Units, At The Latest, Two Weeks After They Are Issued The Notice To Proceed.
