(including labour cess but excluding gst.) 5 providing, laying and rolling of open-graded premix carpet of 20 mm thickness composed of 13.2 mm to 5.6 mm aggregates using vg-10 grade bitumen to required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course on a previously prepared base by mechanical means, including mixing in a suitable plant, laying and rolling with a three wheel 80-100 kn static roller capacity, finished to required level and grades to be followed by seal coatas per technical specification clause 508 (by mechanical means, including labour cess but excluding gst). 6 providing and laying seal coat by manual means with vg-10 grade bitumen sealing the voids in a bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using type b as per technical specification clause 510 (by mechanical means, including labour cess but excluding gst). 7 brick edging on both sides of the road of first class (m-150) brick on edge laid with mud mortar incluidng labour and supply of bricks finished to be required templete and in proper alignmnet and also including dressing and ramming the excavated earth as directed by the engineer in charge. as per s.i. no. 765. (including labour cess but excluding gst.) 8 maintenance of road for next five year after completion contractor shall be paid total maintenance cost 7.50% (ist year-0%, iind year-0.75%, iiird year-1.50%, ivth year-2.25% & vth year-3.00%) of civil cost for five year in the form of instalment as below. the payment shall be inclusive of cess but excluding gst payment shall be done as per sastisfaction of engineer in charge regarding maintenance work carried out by contractor.
