Stanadyne a manufacturer of diesel and gasoline fuel systems is planning to invest Rs. 100 crore over the next 24-30 months to increase production capacity at its Chennai plant, while some of the investments would be used to make pumps above 50 Hp. The company’s plant in Chennai has a production capacity of about 85,000 fuel pumps, which the company expects to nearly triple to 2.35 lakh per year, the company is a joint venture between the US-based Stanadyne and Chennai-based Amalgamations Group
