Andhra Pradesh power utilities plan to invest Rs. 30,000 crore in strengthening the transmission and distribution network over the next four years. AP Genco plans to enhance thermal power generation capacity by 3,850 MW by making investments of Rs. 17,340 crore over the next four years, AP Transco and AP Genco plan is to focus on super critical boiler units for thermal power generation and multi circuit transmission towers to reduce losses and improve efficiency
