Uttar Pradesh Waste Management Project Is In Plan For Expansion. There Are About 2170 Hazardous Waste Generating Units Which Generate Approx. 137763 MTA Of Hazardous Waste In The State Of Uttar Pradesh. The Total Area Of The Land Is 31.63 Acres (12.8 Ha). The Existing Facility Is Established In An Area Of 7.3 Ha. The Expansion Facility Is Proposed In An Additional Area Of 5.5 Ha Making The Total Area 12.8 Ha. Of This, 33% Of The Area (4.18 Ha) Will Be Allocated For Greenbelt Development. Water Requirement For The Project Will Be Met Through The Bore Wells And Water Tankers. The Total Water Required Is About 120 KLD. The Effluent Generated Will Be Treated In The Proposed ETP. Manpower Required Is About 120. Additionally, About 75 Workers Will Be Hired From The Nearby Villages On Contract Basis During Construction Phase On A Temporary Basis 0.8 MW Power Is Required. The Power Requirements Will Be Met From The State Electricity Board And DG Sets (380 KVA For Incinerator And 62.5 KVA At Work Place For Emergency Power Backup. By This All Company Plan To Increase Capacity By 2.5 Times More Than Existing.
