General Procurement Notice For Strengthening The Capacity Of The Administrative Control Authority Of Combat Corruption In Egypt Phase I 1 The Government Of Egypt Has Received A Grant From The African Development Bank Mena Transition Fund To Finance The Strengthening Of The Capacity Of The Administrative Control Authority Aca To Combat Corruption In Egypt2 The Principal Objectives Of This Project Are To I Assist The Government Of Egypt In Countering And Preventing Corruption In An Effective Manner Under The Umbrella Of The National Anti Corruption Strategy And Ii Enhance The Capacity Of Aca3 The Project Includes The Following Components Component 1 Strengthening The Capacity Of Aca To Effectively Combat Corruption This Component Focuses On Institutional Strengthening Of Aca Through Conducting Capacity Assessment Of Aca To Inform The Design And Implementation Of A Capacity Building Program For Its Staff As Well As The Development Of A Plan To Strengthen Existing Systems And Processes To More Effectively And Efficiently Combat Corruption This Will Include The Introduction Of Modern Technologies And Techniques To More Effectively And Efficiently Counter And Prevent Corruption And To Support The Upgrade Of Essential Ict Systems To Enable Collection Analysis And Monitoring Of Corruption Data And Aca Performance Component 2 Advocacy Awareness Raising And Knowledge Management This Component Will Focus On Developing And Implementing Strategic Actions Across Government To Counter And Prevent Corruption In A More Coordinated And Results Oriented Manner As Well As Build Public Awareness On The Risks And Consequences Of Corruption Component 3 Project Management This Component Will Finance The Establishment Of A Project Coordination Unit Pcu To Ensure Smooth Implementation And Management Of The Project This Includes Nomination Of A Project Coordinator From Within Aca Recruitment Of A Procurement Office Financial Management Officer And A Full Time Monitoring Evaluation Officer This Component Will Also Provide For Operating Costs Associated With The Many Planned Activities 4 Acquisition Of The Services Of Consultants And Procurement Of Goods Will Be In Accordance The Procurement Policy For African Development Bank Group Funded Operation Dated October 2015 Specifically Bank S Procurement Methods And Procedures Banks Pmps Bidding Documents Are Expected To Be Available In March 2018
