3SECTION-A: EARTHWORK AND PILE
4CLEARING JUNGLE AND SURFACE DRESSING - Clearing jungle and surface dressing including uprooting of rank vegetation, grass, brush wood, trees and saplings of girth up to 30 cm measured at a height of 1 m above ground level and removal and disposal of rubbish/ trees/ grass, etc. for all leads within the GAIL site premises and adjoining area around the periphery.
5EARTHWORK EXCAVATION (SOIL) - Earth work in excavation by mechanical means (Hydraulic excavator)/ manual means over areas and in in foundation trenches or drains, including getting out and disposal of excavated earth for all leads and for all lift within the GAIL premises, as directed by Engineer-in-charge. 7EXCAVATING TRENCHES (PIPES) - Excavating trenches by mechinical / manual means of required width for pipes, cables, etc including excavation for sockets, and dressing of sides, ramming of bottoms, for all depth, including getting out the excavated soil, and then returning the soil as required, in layers not exceeding 75 cm in depth, including consolidating each deposited layer by ramming, watering, etc. and disposing of surplus excavated soil as directed, for all lead within the GAIL premises. 8DEWATERING DURING EXCAVATION - Dewatering of ground water (except for water accumulation due to rainfall) continuously during exacavtion to enable layout and excavation using diesel operated Pump and providing drainage at suitable distance as per instruction of Engineer-in-charge.
9FILLING EXCAVATED EARTH - Filling available excavated earth (excluding rock) in trenches, plinth, sides of foundations etc. in layers not exceeding 20 cm in depth, consolidating each deposited layer by ramming and watering, for all leads and for all lift within the GAIL site premises.
10GOOD EARTH FILLING - Excavating, supplying stacking, filling and compaction of Locally available good earth (including royalty) by mechanical transport for lead upto 10 km including ramming and watering of the earth in layers not exceeding 20 cm and compacted complete. The measurement will be taken of final compacted thickness layer for payment. The rate shall be inclusive of all royalties, duties, mining cess, etc if applicable. NOTE:- Cost of rolling shall be paid separately as per item no. A.8. Survey of rate of locally available earth to be carried out by bidder before quoting.
11DIESEL ROLLER 8-10 T CAPACITY - Supplying Diesel Roller along with driver of 8-10 T capacity for rolling works of Good earth soil and ground and making the surface compact and even as desired by the EIC. The rate shall be inclusive of all hire charges, fuel, lubricant, driver/operator, helper. Rate is to be quoted for minimum 8 hours working per day
12JCB - SUPPLYING JCB ALONGWITH DRIVER - Supplying JCB along with driver for desired works of Good Earth soil and ground and making the surface level and even as desired by the EIC. The rate shall be inclusive of all hire charges, fuel, lubricant, driver/operator, helper. Rate is to be quoted for minimum 8 hours working per day

17FOR PLINTH - Treatment of Top Surface of Plinth Filling within plinth walls at the rate of 5 l/m2 with chemical emulsion before the concrete/ flooring is laid including making holes in earth to allow the emulsion to seep through.
18ALONG PERIPHERY ATT OF JUNCTION OF WALL & FLOOR/ SOIL ALONG PERIMETER & IN CONTACT - A. Treatment of soil in immediate contact with the vertical surfaces of RCC foundations using chemical emulsion at the rate of 7.5 I/m2 up to a depth of 500 mm from ground level. B. Treatment at Junction of the Wall and the Floor on inner wall surface by making a small channel 30 mm x 30 mm at all the junctions of wall and columns before the concrete/ flooring and chemical emulsion poured along the wall at the rate of 7.5 l/m2 of vertical wall or column surface up to the ground level. C. Treatment of Soil Along External Perimeter of Building- After the building is complete, the earth along the external perimeter of the building should be rodded at intervals of 150 mm and up to the ground level and chemical emulsion poured along the wall at the rate of 7.5 l/m2 of vertical surfaces.

20PILING WORKS - Boring, providing and installation bored cast-in-situ reinforced cement concrete piles of grade M-30 of specified diameter and length below the pile cap, to carry a safe working load not less than specified, excluding the cost of steel reinforcement but including the cost of boring with bentonite solution and temporary casing of appropriate length for setting out and removal of same and the length of the pile to be embedded in the pile cap etc. by percussion drilling using Direct mud circulation (DMC) or Bailer and chisel technique by tripod and mechanical Winch Machine all complete, including removal of excavated earth with all its lifts and leads (length of pile for payment shall be measured up to bottom of pile cap).

37RCC (M30) I/C SHUTTERING - Providing and laying in position ready mixed (RMC) or site batched design mix (with facility of providing computerized report) cement concrete for reinforced cement concrete work; using coarse aggregate and fine aggregate, Portland Pozzolana / Ordinary Portland /Portland Slag cement,, admixtures in recommended proportions as per IS: 9103 to accelerate / retard setting of concrete, to improve durability and workability without impairing strength; including pumping of concrete to site of laying, curing, carriage for all leads and heights ; INCLUDING the cost of centering, shuttering (for all elements and shuttering for slab upto 6.0 mtr. height (in single length)), finishing but EXCLUDING the cost of reinforcement as per direction of the engineer-in-charge; for the M30 grade of concrete. 42EXPANSION JOINT - FLOOR JOINT - Providing and fixing of expansion joint system related with floor location as per drawings and direction of Engineer-In-Charge. The joints system will be of extruded aluminum base members, self aligning / self centering arrangement and support plates etc. as per ASTM B221-02. The system shall be such that it provides floor to floor /floor to wall expansion control system for various vertical localtion in load application areas that accommodates multi directional seismic movement without stress to it’s components. System shall consist of metal profiles with an universal aluminum base member designed to accommodate various project conditions and finish floor treatments. The cover plate shall be designed of width and thickness required to satisfy projects movement and loading requirements and secured to base members by utilizing manufacturer’s pre-engineered self- centering arrangement that freely rotates / moves in all directions. The Self - centering arrangement shall exhibit circular sphere ends that lock and slide inside the corresponding aluminum extrusion cavity to allow freedom of movement and flexure in all directions including vertical displacement. Provision of Moisture Barrier Membrane in the Joint System to have watertight joint is mandatory requirement all as per the manufactures design and as approved by Engineer -in- Charge. 43EXPANSION JOINT - WALL JOINT - Providing and fixing of expansion joint system related with wall joint (internal/external) location as per drawings and direction of Engineer-In-Charge. The joints shall be of extruded aluminum base members, self aligning / centering arrangement and support plates as per ASTM B221- 02. The material shall be such that it provides an Expansion Joints System suitable for vertical wall to wall/ wall to corner application, both new and existing construction in office Buildings & complexes with no slipping down tendency amongst the components of the Joint System. The Joint System shall utilize light weight aluminum profiles exhibiting minimal exposed aluminum surfaces mechanically snap locking the multicellular to facilitate movement. (Material shall conform to ASTM 6063). Wall joint of 100 mm gap
44EXPANSION JOINT - ROOF JOINT - Providing and fixing of expansion joint system of approved make and manufactures for various roof locations as per approved drawings and direction of Engineer-In-Charge. The joints shall be of extruded aluminum base members with, self aligning and self centering arragement support plates as per ASTM B221-02. The system shall be such that it provides watertight roof to roof/roof to corner joint cover expansion control system that is capable of accommodating multidirectional seismic movement without stress to its components. System shall consist of metal profile that incorporates an universal aluminum base member designed to accommodate various project conditions and roof treatments. The cover plate shall be designed of width and thickness required to satisfy movement and loading requirements and secured to base members by utilizing manufacturer’s pre-engineered self-centering arrangement that freely rotates / moves in all directions. The Self centering arrangement shall exhibit circular sphere ends that lock and slide inside the corresponding aluminum extrusion cavity to allow freedom of movement and flexure in all directions including vertical displacement. The Joint System shall resists damage or deterioration from the impact of falling ice, exposure to UV, airborne contaminants and occasional foot traffic from maintenance personnel. Provision of Moisture Barrier Membrane in the Joint System to have water tight joint is mandatory requirement. (Material shall conform to ASTM 6063). Roof joint of 100 mm gap

47AAC BLOCK 150 TO 300 MM - Providing and laying Autoclaved Aerated concrete (AAC) blocks masonry with 150 mm to 300 mm thick with Grade-1 AAC blocks of density 551 to 650 kg/cum conforming to IS:2185 (Part 3) in foundation, plinth and in super structure with RCC band at sill level and lintel level with approved block laying polymer modified adhesive mortar all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (The payment of RCC band and reinforcement shall be made under respective item).
48AAC BLOCK 100/ 125 MM - Providing and laying Autoclaved Aerated concrete (AAC) blocks masonry 100 mm/ 125 mm thick with Grade-1 AAC blocks of density 551 to 650 kg/cum conforming to IS:2185 (Part 3) in foundation, plinth and in super structure in cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 coarse sand ). 73Insulated glazed fire door & Partition (E/EW120, EI30) Providing and fixing of insulated glazed fire door for stability, integrity (E/EW 120) & Insulation (EI 30). Pressed galvanized steel confirming to IS 277 with the following specification. Glazed door shall be tested as per IS 16947, IS/ISO 3009-1 for integrity & insulation (E/EW 120) from CBRI/ TBW / Exova Certifier for maximum rating of 120mins with 30Mins insulation and manufactured in ISO 9001: 2015 certfied company for quality management. Test certificates should be made available for max door size tested as a complete assembly including assessment report for side partition for max glass size. Proper label confirming the type of door and the hourly rating is mandatory. Door frames and partitions shall be single rebate frame profile of size 125 x 60mm made out of 1.60mm (16gauge) minimum thick galvanized steel sheet. Frames shall be butted/mitered and with mandatory provision for smoke seal and field assembled with self tabs. All transom profiles and side panels shall be from similar profile and should be as per the tested specimen. For partitions, glass should be held in its place with 1.2mm GI clip-on beading 19mm height with ceramic tape of size 4 x 13mm as per test evidence. Concealed screws shall be of size 8 x 19mm, self tapping and fixed inside the beading at every 250 m c/c. Door frames shall be with back plate bracket and anchor fasteners for installation on a finished plastered masonry wall opening. The top support formounting shall be included as per design requirement. Once frame installed should be filled with PUF as recomended by the manufacturer or engineer.
74Door leaf shall be fully glazed SH100 profile of size 60 x 100mm profile step box section for taking glass elements. Door leaf shall be manufactured from 1.2mm (18guage) minimum thick galvanised steel sheet. 114TENSILE STEEL ROOFING SHEET - Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (size, shape and pitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-Charge) of total coated thickness 0.50 mm (base metal of minimum 0.45 mm thickness with total coating thickness of 0.05mm) with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desired by Engineer-in-charge. The sheet shall be fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required. The cost shall include the cost of erecting the sheets and fixing the same with approved make screw/ washer etc complete including the cost of truss, crimp ridge, gutter and crimp eaves. 115POLYCARBONATE ROOF SHEET - Designing, providing and fixing multiwall three or more layered polycarbonate sheet panel co-extruded Ultra Violet (UV) protective coating on external surface with standing seam on both the running ends, sheet shall be connected using polycarbonate connectors having grip lock double tooth locking mechanism and provided with endcap at the ends to ensure water and air tightness. The light transmission from transparent or translucent or opaque or in combination polycarbonate sheet, varies from 15 to 85%, shall be decided by engineer in charge as per requirement. The polycarbonate sheet shall have Dart drop impact value more than 60 Joules as per IS14434:2023 and confirm either flame retardancy of class UL-94HB/94V-0 category as per IS14434:2023 or category V0 & HB as per ASTM D635-18 or BS1D0 classification as per EN13501 for fire safety. The yellowness index tested as per ASTM E313 (D1925) or ASTM E313 (D1925) shall be equal to or more than 10 unit or 6 units respectively on a sample after 5000 Hours of exposure of UV / sun light. The cross section ends of polycarbonate sheet shall be provided with self-adhesive aluminium impermeable tape at top and aluminium ventilated tape at bottom of the sheet and covered with polycarbonate / aluminium u-shaped protective profile. The poly carbonate sheet shall be held in position by using stainless steel (SS304 grade) trapezoidal cleat of 1 mm thick having minimum bottom width 35mm and top width 50mm or any other shape and size as per design requirement and manufacturer specification, cleat fixed with 2 or more stainless steel screws of 5 mm diameter with 25mm long with structural steel framework. The cleat shall be tested to withstand pull out force equal to wind speed of 50m/s as per IS: 875 and design test report shall be submitted to Engineer-in-charge for approval before use. 1442.40 METRE HIGH TEMPORARY BARRICADING AT SITE - Providing and erecting 2.40 metre high temporary barricading at site; each panel of size 2.40mx2.40m made of 40x40x6mm angle iron or 50x50x3mm hollow MS tube posts/horizontal members/bracings covered with 1.63mm thick MS sheet. The sheet shall be fixed with 30x5mm MS flat by suitable welding/riveting. MS channel ISLC 75 @ 5.70 kg/m, 50cm long shall be provided at the bottom having oval shaped holes of size 50x25mm at both ends with 50cm long MS angle 40x40x6mm bracing. Suitable arrangement shall be made to fix the barricading to avoid from overturning by providing 250mm long expansion fasteners at both ends. The work shall be executed as per drawing/direction of Engineer- in-Charge which includes writing and painting, arrangement for traffic diversion such as traffic signals during construction at site for day and night, glow lamps, reflective signs, marking, flags, caution tape as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. The barricading provided shall be retained in position at site continuously i/c shifting of barricading from one location to another location as many times as required during the execution of the entire work till its completion. Rate include its maintenance for damages, painting, all incidentals, labour materials, equipment's and works required to execute the job. The barricading shall not be removed without prior approval of Engineer-in-Charge. (Note :- One time payment shall be made for providing barricading from start of work till completion of work i/c shifting. The barricading provided shall remain to be the property of the contractor on completion of the work).

147SECTION K - ALUMINIUM AND STRUCTURAL GLAZING WORK Notes and Conditions for all the boq items under this subhead. Contractor/ Fabricator /Sub-Contractor shall be responsible to read the bill of quantity in conjecture with the Technical Specifications, Tender drawings, Architectural drawings or other related contract documents. Any discrepancy found in any of the document shall bring to notice of EIC and proceed upon the approval of Engineer-in-charge Rates inclusives of Contractor submitting the shop drawings of all the doors and windows full assembly types with all the details as required for fixing and joinery, hardware and accessories, method of installation and structural stability calculations based on the architectural design intent drawigs and get them approved by the Architect and EIC before any execution at site. All doors, windows, ventilators sections shall be polyester powder coated 50 micron in desired colour in matt finish as per the approval of Architect. All Extruded and other sections are to be of aluminum alloy grade He9, 6063 and shall conform to latest IS733, IS1285, IS5082, IS 7092-2, being of commercial quality and free from any defects impairing strength, durability and appearance along with certificate of primary biller original manufacturer as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. All dimensions mentioned in the drawing are approximate. Necessary allowance for fixing over stone/ wood/ tile or any other material as per the jamb details and also necessary allowances for fixing tolerances to be considered while manufacturing and fabrication. While manufacturing, actual site measurement shall be taken by the contractor. Necessary planning for fixing the unit has to be carried out by the Contractor without any extra cost. Payment shall be made per Kg basis. Aluminium sections such as shutter frames, track window / door frame/beading channel for glass adjustable louvers etc., shall only be measured linearly as per actual / finished cutting size nearest to centimetre and multiplied with approved sectional weight of the individual section and the total quantity of aluminium section will be arrived at for payment without any allowance for wastage.
148ALUMINIUM EXTRUDED TUBULAR AND OTHER ALUMINIUM SECTIONS - Providing and supplying aluminium extruded tubular and other aluminium sections FOR ALL HEIGHTS INCLUDING SCAFFOLDING COMPLETE as per the architectural drawings and approved shop drawings , the aluminium quality as per grade 6063 T5 or T6 as per BS 1474,including super durable powder coating of 60-80 microns conforming to AAMA 2604 of required colour and shade as approved by the Engineer-in-Charge. (The item includes cost of material such as cleats, sleeves, screws etc. necessary for fabrication of extruded aluminium frame work. Nothing extra shall be paid on this account). The weight of aluminium extruded section shall be taken for purpose of payment.
149IN POSITION SEMI (GRID) UNITIZED SYSTEM OF STRUCTURAL GLAZING - Designing, fabricating, testing, protection, installing and fixing in position semi (grid) unitized system of structural glazing (with open joints) for linear as well as curvilinear portions of the building for all heights and all levels, including: a) Structural analysis & design and preparation of shop drawings for the specified design loads conforming to IS 875 part III (the system must passed the proof test at 1.5 times design wind pressure without any failure), including functional design of the aluminum sections for fixing glazing panels of various thicknesses, aluminium cleats, sleeves and splice plates etc. gaskets, screws, toggles, nuts, bolts, clamps etc., structural and weather silicone sealants, flashings, fire stop (barrier)- cum-smoke seals, microwave cured EPDM gaskets for water tightness, pressure equalisation & drainage and protection against fire hazard including: b) Fabricating and supplying serrated M.S. hot dip galvanised /Aluminium alloy of 6005 T5 brackets of required sizes, sections and profiles etc. to accommodate 3 Dimentional movement for achieving perfect verticality and fixing structural glazing system rigidly to the RCC/ masonry/structural steel framework of building structure using stainless steel anchor fasteners/bolts, nylon seperator to prevent bimetallic contacts with nuts and washers etc. of stainless steel grade 316, of the required capacity and in required numbers. c) Providing and filling, two part pump filled, structural silicone sealant and one part weather silicone sealant compatible with the structural silicone sealant of required bite size in a clean and controlled factory / work shop environment, including double sided spacer tape, setting blocks and backer rod, all of approved grade, brand and manufacture, as per the approved sealant design, within and all around the perimeter for holding glass. (d) Providing and fixing in position flashings of solid aluminium sheet 1 mm thick and of sizes, shapes and profiles, as required as per the site conditions, to seal the gap between the building structure and all its interfaces with curtain glazing to make it watertight.
150(e) Making provision for drainage of moisture/ water that enters the curtain glazing system to make it watertight, by incorporating principles of pressure equalization, providing suitable gutter profiles at bottom (if required), making necessary holes of required sizes and of required numbers etc. complete. This item includes cost of all inputs of designing, labour for fabricating and installation of aluminium grid, installation of glazed units, T&P, scaffolding and other incidental charges including wastages etc., enabling temporary structures and services, cranes or cradles etc. as described above and as specified. The item includes the cost of getting all the structural and functional design checked and all shop drawings VETTED by a STRUCTURAL DESIGNER of the structural glazing system duly approved by Engineer-in-charge. The item also includes the cost of all mock ups at site, cost of all samples of the individual components for testing in an approved laboratory, field tests on the assembled working structural glazing as specified, cleaning and protection till the handing over of the building for occupation. In the end, the Contractor shall provide a water tight structural glazing having all the performance characteristics etc. all complete as required, as per the Architectural drawings, as per item description, as specified, as per the approved shop drawings and as directed by the Engineer- in-Charge. Note:- 1. The cost of providing extruded aluminium frames, shadow boxes, extruded aluminium section capping for fixing in the grooves of the curtain glazing and vermin proof stainless steel wire mesh shall be paid for separately under relevant items under this sub- head. However, for the purpose of payment, only the actual area of structural glazing (including width of grooves) on the external face shall be measured in sqm. up to two decimal places.
151HERMETICALLY SEALED DOUBLE GLAZING UNIT CONSISTING OF FLOAT GLASS 6 MM THK - Providing and fixing hermetically sealed double glazing unit in windows, ventilators and partition etc. consisting of float glass 6mm thick substrate with reflective coating on face # 2 (outer side), + 12mm Airgap + 6mm Clear Glass (inner side), both glass fully toughened of approved make and including EPDM gasket perforated aluminium spacers, dessicants, sealant (Both primary and secondary sealant) etc. as per specifications, drawings and direction of Engineer-in-charge complete. 152ALUMINIUM COMPOSITE PANEL CLADDING - Designing, fabricating, testing, installing and fixing in position Curtain Wall with Aluminium Composite Panel Cladding, with open grooves for linear as well as curvilinear portions of the building , for all heights and all levels etc. including: (a) Structural analysis & design and preparation of shop drawings for pressure equalisation or rain screen principle as required, proper drainage of water to make it watertight including checking of all the structural and functional design. (b) Providing, fabricating and supplying and fixing panels of aluminium composite panel cladding in pan shape in metalic colour of approved shades made out of 4mm thick aluminium composite panel material consisting of 3mm thick FR grade mineral core sandwiched between two Aluminium sheets (each 0.5mm thick). The aluminium composite panel cladding sheet shall be coil coated, with Kynar 500 based PVDF / Lumiflon based fluoropolymer resin coating of approved colour and shade on face # 1 and polymer (Service) coating on face # 2 as specified using stainless steel screws, nuts, bolts, washers, cleats, weather silicone sealant, backer rods etc.
153(c) The fastening brackets of Aluminium alloy 6005 T5 / MS with Hot Dip Galvanised with serrations and serrated washers to arrest the wind load movement, fasteners, SS 316 Pins and anchor bolts of approved make in SS 316, Nylon separators to prevent bi-metallic contacts all complete required to perform as per specification and drawing The item includes cost of all material & labour component, the cost of all mock ups at site, cost of all samples of the individual components for testing in an approved laboratory, field tests on the assembled working curtain wall with aluminium composite panel cladding, cleaning and protection of the curtain wall with aluminium composite panel cladding till the handing over of the building for occupation. Base frame work for ACP cladding is payable under the relevant aluminium/ structural item.s The Contractor shall provide curtain wall with aluminium composite panel cladding, having all the performance characteristics all complete , as per the Architectural drawings, as per item description, as specified, as per the approved shop drawings and as directed by the Engineer-in-Charge. However, for the purpose of payment, only the actual area on the external face of the curtain wall with Aluminum Composite Panel Cladding (including width of groove) shall be measured in sqm. up to two decimal places.
154EXTRA FOR OPENABLE IGU - Extra for openable side / top hung vision glass panels (IGUs) including providing and supplying at site all accessories and hardwares for the openable panels as specified and of the approved make such as heavy duty stainless steel friction hinges, min 4 -point cremone locking sets with stainless steel plates, handles, buffers etc. including necessary stainless steel screws/ fasteners, nuts, bolts, washers etc. all complete as per the Architectural drawings, as per the approved shop drawings, as specified and as directed by the Engineer- in-Charge.
155SPIDER GLAZING SYSTEM - Design supply & installation of suspended Spider Glazing system designed to withstand the wind pressure as per IS 875 (Part-III). The Suspended System held with Spider Fittings of SS-316 Grade Steel of approved manufacturer with glass panel having 12 mm thick clear toughened glass held together with SS- 316 Grade Stainless steel Spider & bolt assembly with laminated glass fins 21 mm thick. The Glass fins and glass panel assembly shall be connected to Slab/beams by means of SS- 316 Grade stainless steel brackets & Anchor bolts and at the bottom using SS channel of 50x25x2mm using fastener & anchor bolts, non staining weather sealants of approved make, Teflon/ nylon bushes and separators to prevent bi-metallic contacts, all complete to perform as per specification and approved drawings. The complete system to be designed to accommodate thermal expansion & seismic movements etc. The joints between glass panels (6 to 8 mm) and gaps at the perimeter & in U channel of the assembly to be filled with non staining weather sealant, so as to make the entire system fully water proof & dust proof.
156The rate shall include all design, Engineering and shop drawing including approval from structural designer, labour, T&P, scaffolding, other incidental charges including wastage, enabling temporary services all fitting fixers nut bolts, washer, Buffer plates, fastener, anchors, SS channel laminated glass etc. all complete. For the purpose of payment, actual elevation area of Glazing including thickness of joints and the portion of Glass panel inside the SS channel shall be measured.
157ANODISED EXTRUDED ALUMINIUM GRILL - Providing and fixing anodised EXTRUDED aluminium grill (anodised transparent or dyed to required shade according to IS: 1868 with minimum anodic coating of grade AC 15) of approved design/pattern, with approved standard section and fixed to the existing window frame with C.P. brass/ stainless steel screws @ 200 mm centre to centre, including cutting the grill to proper opening size for fixing and operation of handles and fixing approved anodised aluminium standard section around the opening, all complete as per requirement and direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Only weight of grill to be measured for payment).
158SECTION L - WATERPROOFING WORK
159INTEGRAL CEMENT BASED WATER PROOFING TREATMENT - Providing and laying integral cement based water proofing treatment including preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terraces etc consisting of following operations: (a) Applying a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS. 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge over the RCC slab including adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including cleaning the surface before treatment. (b) Supplying, Laying brick bats with mortar using broken bricks/brick bats 25 mm to 115 mm size with 50% of cement mortar 1:5 (1 cement : 5 coarse sand (as per relevant IS (like IS 383, IS 2116, IS 650, IS 1904, IS 16144, etc.)) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer- in-charge over 20 mm thick layer of cement mortar of mix 1:5 (1 cement :5 coarse sand (as per relevant IS (like IS 383, IS 2116, IS 650, IS 1904, IS 16144, etc.)) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer- in-charge to required slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including rounding of junctions of walls and slabs. (c) After two days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry using 2.75 kg/ sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge.
160(d) Finishing the surface with 20 mm thick jointless cement mortar of mix 1:4 (1 cement :4 coarse sand as per relevant IS (like IS 383, IS 2116, IS 650, IS 1904, IS 16144, etc.)) admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by Engineer-in-charge including laying glass fibre cloth of approved quality in top layer of plaster and finally finishing the surface with trowel with neat cement slurry and making pattern of 300x300 mm square 3 mm deep. (e) The whole terrace so finished shall be flooded with water for a minimum period of two weeks for curing and for final test.“All above operations to be done in order and as directed and specified by the Engineer-in-Charge :With average thickness of 120 mm and minimum thickness at khurra as 65 mm.
161INTEGRAL CRYSTALLINE SLURRY OF HYDROPHILIC - Providing and applying integral crystalline slurry of hydrophilic in nature for waterproofing treatment to the RCC structures like retaining walls of the basement, water tanks, roof slabs, podiums, reservior, sewage & water treatment plant, tunnels / subway and bridge deck etc., prepared by mixing in the ratio of 5 : 2 (5 parts integral crystalline slurry : 2 parts water) for vertical surfaces and 3 : 1 (3 parts integral crystalline slurry : 1 part water) for horizontal surfaces and applying the same from negative (internal) side with the help of synthetic fiber brush. The material shall meet the requirements as specified in ACI-212-3R-2010 i.e by reducing permeability of concrete by more than 90% compared with control concrete as per DIN 1048 and resistant to 16 bar hydrostatic pressure on negative side. The crystalline slurry shall be capable of self-healing of cracks up to a width of 0.50mm. The work shall be carried out all complete as per specification and the direction of the engineer-in- charge. The product performance shall carry guarantee for 10 years against any leakage.
162FOR VERTICAL SURFACE - For vertical surface two coats @0.70 kg per sqm
163FOR HORIZONTAL SURFACE - For horizontal surface one coat @1.10 kg per sqm.
164SWELLABLE TYPE WATER STOP - Providing and applying of swellable type water stop tape, 19mm x 25mm thick in linear meter (expansive nature) for construction joints treatment of RCC structure such as raft slab, retaining walls, water storage tank and at the junctions of raft slab with the retaining walls etc.. After cleaning the surface, one coat of required primer for swellable water stop tape shall be applied throughout the length of the joint @3.78 litre per 240 running meter. Over the primed surface swellable type water stop tape shall be placed. The work shall be carried out all complete as per specification and the direction of the Engineer-In-Charge. The product performance shall carry guarantee for 10 years against any leakage.
165FIBRE REINFORCED PROOFING MEMBRA - Providing and applying fibre reinforced elastomeric liquid water proofing membrane with resilient acrylic polymers having Sun Reflectivity Index (SRI) of 105 on top of concrete roof in three coats @10.76 litre/ 10 sqm. One coat of self-priming of elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dilution with water in the ratio of 3:1) and two coats of undiluted elastomeric waterproofing liquid (dry film thickness of complete application/system not less than 500 microns). The operation shall be carried out after scrapping and properly cleaning the surface to remove loose particles with wire brushes, complete in all respect as per the direction of Engineerin-Charge.
166WATER PROOFING TREATMENT IN SUNKEN PORTION - Providing and laying water proofing treatment in sunken portion of WCs, bathroom etc., by applying cement slurry mixed with water proofing cement compound consisting of applying : (a) First layer of slurry of cement @ 0.488 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.253 kg/ sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours. (b) Second layer of slurry of cement @ 0.242 kg/sqm mixed with water proofing cement compound @ 0.126 kg/sqm. This layer will be allowed to air cure for 4 hours followed with water curing for 48 hours. (The rate includes preparation of surface, treatment and sealing of all joints, corners, junctions of pipes and masonry with polymer mixed slurry.)
167SECTION M - MISCELLANEOUS WORK
168GYPSUM PANEL PARTITION - Providing and laying Gypsum panel partitions 100 mm thick with water proof Gypsum panels of size 666x500x100 mm, made of calcite phosphor Gypsum fixed with tongue and groove edges and jointed with bonding plaster as per manufacturer’s specifications in superstructure above plinth level up to floor V level. Gypsum blocks will have a minimum compressive strength of 9.3 kg/cm2
169ALUMINIUM PARTITION WORK - Providing and fixing in position opaque partition consisting of frame work in extruded aluminium sections 1.6 mm thick, of approx size 50 x50 mm , placed at center to center at not more than 600 mm vertically and 600 mm horizontally, joined using angle 35x35x 3 mm . Securely fixed to wall and , floor and ceiling complete in all respect . The rates shall be inclusive of cutting , punching of holes for drawings conduits and boxes for electrical works etc. Providing and fixing to aluminium frame work , Particle/ MDF / Ply Boards etc., fixed with fully threaded parallel shank screws at 200 to 300 mm centre to centre , on both sides of framework. Joints staggered on either sides of the partitions to avoid through joints complete as per directions of Engineer-in-Charge. (Ply Board work to be measured and paid separately in respective item).

17112 MM THK TOUGHENED CLEAR GLASS - Providing and fixing in position 12 mm thk Toughened Clear Glass in partition panels by using various glass fittings of approved make (DORMA / HAFELE / HETTICH) to be fixed with necessary fittings on the ceiling duly finished without giving any load on the false ceiling by using necessary hardware of Dorma / Hafele make what ever necessary and required numbers to complete the job in all respect. Rate including cost of door opening with approval hardware such as patch fitting lock, handle etc of approved make but without cost of floor spring. Contractor is advised to submit working drawing with details of approved make patch fitting, sizes of glass panels etc and take approvals of consultants before execution of works. All complete as per detail drawing, as specified and as directed by Architect / Consultant / Engineer - In - Charge.
