| 12 | Strengthening of RCC MembersSteel Scaffolding: Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type), with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineerin-charge. The elevational area on single face of scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose .The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. |

| 15 | Removal of Unsound Concrete: Carefully removing and cleaning of existing loose & unsound concrete of beams, slabs & columns ,including removal of concrete at least 20 mm beyond steel reinforcement to expose reinforcing bar by low impact high frequency hammer OR by manual chipping without damaging the existing concrete or control sandblasting including cleaning the surfaces by air jet etc.; |
| 16 | Reinforcement Cleaning: Clean existing reinforcement with wire/ rotary wire brush, making the surfaces free from loose material dirt etc. complete, Applying one coat of rust remover and two coats of Zinc Rich Primer on the rebars, including cleaning the reinforcement, wire brushing to remove loose rust spalls, with time interval of 1 hour between the coats. - (Mode of measurement- per sqmt of breaking area of concrete ) |

| 18 | Epoxy Grouting: Grouting / flooding low viscosity Resin thermosett Epoxy Grout material by pressure and using injector with accessories till nozzles refused to accept the grout, Including, Mixing of materials: Mixing material components part 'a' and part 'b' in required quantities as per mfg instruction by weigh batching Grouting: Fill the grouting gun with grouting material .Maintain desired pressure in the gun by air compressor maintain the pressure at exit (3 to 4 kg/Cm2) by monitoring pressure gauge at exit. Grout the material through prefixed nozzles in the structural elements till its refusal. Seal the nozzle with epoxy putty after the refusal. Monitor leakages through other nozzles while grouting and seal them as per the requirement. |
| 19 | Cementitious Grout: Providing and injecting Cement grout of Make FOsroc/ MYK Arment /SPT / SIKA or equivalent with cement In the ratio as per specifications with grouting pump at a pressure @ 1.5 to 3.5 Kg/cm2 or as instructed by EIC etc complete. After grouting is completed after 24 hours, cut the nipples and seal it with Make Fosroc/ MYK Arment Fis 10/SPT / SIKA or & equivalent as per specifications given above. | 20 | Crack Injection & Carbon Rebar Stapling/StitchingCrack Sealing: Removal of plaster or any finishes to expose concrete surface at crack locations, identifying and marking cracklines on the beam faces and soffit, cleaning the crack line surface of dust, loose particles, grooving along the crackline to a depth of 8-10mm using diamond blade, providing and filling thixotropic epoxy into the grooved cracks to be flush with surrounding concrete surface. |
| 21 | Epoxy Injection for Cracks 0.5 mm and above: Surface preparation for cracks , followed by providing and installing surface mounted ports of the low pressure multi port auto injector system at spacing of 150mm-300mm c/c (depending on crack width and beam depth), and injecting low viscosity two component epoxy resin by low pressure, multi port auto injector system into the injection ports until refusal or overflow. |
| 22 | All Cracks: Upon sealing and injection as applicable, removal of injector ports. Stapling/Stitching of crackline at slab soffit by providing and installing CFRP rebar precured 'C' shaped staples 4-5mm dia. and upto 200 mm length, with 75mm staple leg depth, at an average spacing of 200-300 mm c/c including drilling holes on either side of crackline, cutting groove of 5-6mm depth and width to join the drilled holes, priming the groove with epoxy resin and allowing to cure. Injecting the drilled hole with thixotropic epoxy resin. Inerting the CFRP staple legs into the holes and filling the groove with thixotropic epoxy, to be flush with surrounding concrete surfaces. |

| 24 | PU (Polyurethane) pressure grouting : Inject flexible plain polyurethane resin, which is solvent-free and a two-part system, into the predrilled holes and nozzles after primary injection with pu foam for sealing cracks, complete. The scheme for the location of the inject grout must be approved by the eic before installation. |
| 25 | SBR Bond Coat: Providing and application of bond coat on the concrete surface by mixing high dispersion SBR latex like MasterEmco with cement. The mixing shoul be done to a lump free consistency for the bond coat and the screed/ mortar should be applied once the bond coat is tacky. Master Emco SBR MYK, STP, MAPEI or Nitobond SBR (Latex) of Fosroc or equivalent. |
| 26 | Epoxy Bond Coat: Providing and applying structural grade epoxy bond coat prior to building up of section with any type of mortar/ concrete to ensure bond between old concrete and new concrete or micro concrete by brush application as per the manufacturer’s specifications and satisfaction of the Engineer In charge. Approved makes of Epoxy Bond Coat are Sika orFosroc or Basf or approved equivalent. |
