| 2 | M & L in replacement of earthing complete with copper plate electrode 600 x 600 x 3.15 mm thick burried directly in ground earth pit not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level connected to & inclduing copper strip 20x3 mm by means of nuts and bolt check nuts and washers of galvanised iron sheet, passing through protection pipe of 25 mm dia light grade GI pipe all as shown in electrical plate Nos 3 of SSR Part-I, and connected to earthing test point complete inclduing testing filling of adquate quantity of charcoal dust and common salt inclduing refilling earth and removal of surplus soil upto 50 mtrs apart and PCC 1:3:6 type C1 chamber precast RCC cover 40mm thick nrinforces with 6 mm dia MS bar 3 Nos both way with handle made out of 20 mm dia MS base water pipe with wire mesh, funnel etc and connecting testing etc complete all as directed by EIC. Note: Copper strip exceeding 7.5m long shall be measured & paid separately.The earth resistance value less than 5 ohm.Failing to achieve the value the contractor shall be re do the earthing without any extra cost. |

| 4 | M & L in replacement of chemical earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 90cmx60cm x 5 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to depth not less than 3.00 mtr below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 2.25 mtr below normal ground level connected to and including Copper strip of 32x6mm as earth lead up to 7.5 mtr long fixed by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers or brazing etc. of galvanised iron or steel including provn of GI protection pipe light grade of 40mm bore and connected to earth strip earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of SSR Part-I 2009 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion including necessary excavation & earthwork in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, precast slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4)type B1 (reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) of weight not less than 4kg/sqm) with frame, funnel with watering pipe of 15mm bore medium grade, wire mesh and lugs, test point including salt (150KG), Coal dust(100KG) & Magnesium sulphate (150KG) including refilling of earth pit with cultivated soil and removal of surplus soil upto 50mtrs apart etc. complete all as directed by EIC. Note: Copper strip exceeding 7.5m long shall be measured & paid separately.The earth resistance value less than 1 ohm.Failing to achieve the value the contractor shall be re do the earthing without any extra cost. |
| 5 | M&L in replacement of chemical earthing complete with Perforated GI Pipe of 80 mm Medium Grade with hole on peripheri in symmetric zig zag manner buried directly in ground vertically in bore of size 200 mm Dia and depth not less than 12.00 mtr below ground level connected to and including GI strip of 32x6mm as earth lead from bottom of pipe up to 18 mtr long(12m inside pipe and 6m outside pipe) fixed by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers and welding etc. of galvanised iron or steel including provn of GI protection pipe light grade of 40mm bore on earth strip from earth pit to test point all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of SSR Part-I 2009 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion including necessary excavation & earthwork in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, precast slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4)type B1 (reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) of weight not less than 4kg/sqm) with frame, funnel with watering pipe of 15mm bore medium grade, wire mesh and lugs, test point including salt (350KG), Coal dust(225KG) & Magnesium sulphate (350KG) including refilling of earth pit with cultivated black cotton soil and removal of surplus soil upto 50mtrs apart etc. complete all as directed by EIC. Note: GI strip exceeding 18m long shall be measured & paid separately.The earth resistance value less than 1 ohm.Failing to achieve the value the contractor shall be re do the earthing without any extra cost. |
| 6 | Labour only for cleaning the vegetation/surplus soil around the earth pits upto 1.00 mtr all around the pit, cleaning the chamber of the earth pit, Moisture the earth pit with Solution (water+Salt+Charcoal+magnesium sulphate) & checking the results after 3 day from moisture of the earthing using earth tester, re-activating the earth pit using suitable measures as required to bring the results within the limits of 1 /2/3/5 ohm all as directed by EIC.NOTE :i) All materials required for re-activation of earthing pit will be measured and paid separately under supplied only of respective item of schedule. ii) The resistance test of earth pits to be carried out in dry season only. iii) Contractor has to submit the satisfactory earth test reasult duly countersigned by users fo payment purpose. Note :- Testing of earthing should be carried out quaterly for the duretion of 1 year (4 times) |
