1A. CONSERVATION WORKDe-vegetation of small plants, bushes and rank vegetation from masonry/structures including including hing/gur/lime formulation as specified by the Architect or other patented chemical biocide treatment such as biocide (iso propylamine salt of glyphosate) or other equivalent chemical to roots to avoid further growth including disposal of rubbish to nearest Municipal dumping ground. Lead as per direction of Engineer incharge. The rate is inclusive of open the masonry area upto founded roots ends and filled the joints with lime mortar/grout. (reworking of masonry paid sepratly for this item .)
2Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior/interior side of building/structure, upto 25 Rmt height, above ground level, including additional rows of scaffolding in stepped manner as per requirement of site, made with 40mm dia M.S. tube, placed 1.5 Rmt centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joint with cup & lock system with M.S. Tubes, M.S. tube challis, M.S. clamps and staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for execution of work of cleaning and/ or pointing and/ or applying chemical and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connecting with the building etc, wherever required, if feasible, for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc., complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge.Note:- (1) The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. (2) The payment will be made once only for execution of all items for such works.
3Providing and fixing Scaffolding net of required width made of high density Polyethylene UV stabilized knitted on warp knitting machines having density 100grams/sqm and shading coefficient minimum 75% around the construction site/ for vertical extension as per requirement including fastening/tying with building/scaffolding pipes or with any other fixtures etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (One time payment shall be made for providing Scaffolding net from start of work till completion of work including shifting if any. The Scaffolding net shall be the property of the contractor on completion of the work)
4Removing of old sulphated lime wash/white or colour wash in multiple applications without causing damage to the below stone/brick/plastered surface. Scrubbing (not by scraping which leaves surfaces scarred and scratched ) with bristle brushes and hot water ( Care to be taken if the surface is weak one it will break down). Hot water should be used if the limewash has an oil or tallow binder. Gentle cleaning with air abrasive tools can be used if the wall surface is not very week.The final clean will almost invariably have to be carried out by hand scrubbing and rinsed with clean water on completion. The work should be done under supervision of a trained conservator.
5Raking out joints of stone masonry surface to the required width and depth, with due care and precaution, by mechanical / manual means, including preparing and cleaning the surface for re-pointing/ refilling of joints, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground within 50 metre lead.
6Ruled / Flush pointing on Red sand stone masonry surface with lime, surkhi and marble dust mortar in the ratio of 1:1.5:1/2 {One lime: 1.5 surkhi (50% red and 50% light yellow surkhi ) : 1/2 marble dust}. (The rate is inclusive of all materials & labours involved except scaffolding).
7Flooring protection: Covering the existing historic flooring with a layer of of 30mm Plaster of Paris thickness over a layer of high density plastic sheet 150 GSM or 10mm plywood board to ensure that scaffolding/movement of machine do not damage the historic flooring.
8Brick work in gauged arches in superstructure above plinth level and upto 15 meters height (or upto floor five level, whichever is lower) including centering and shuttering complete for span up to 6 metres with common burnt clay F.P.S. (non modular) bricks of class designation 7.5 in lime mortar 1:1:1 (1 lime: 1 surkhi: 1 coarse sand).
9Brick work in plain arches in superstructure above plinth level and upto 15 meters height (or upto floor five level, whichever is lower) including centering and shuttering complete for span up to 6 metres with common burnt clay F.P.S. 10Brick consolidation of Bricks masonry work by removing damaged bricks or masonry along a minor non structural crack and refixing with new bricks to matching the existing masonry by tradinonal method in lime surkhi mortar (1 Lime: 1 Surkhi:1 corse sand) as per direction of Engineer incharge.
11Brick masonry in mouldings and cornices (upto 30 cm in projection and 30 cm in depth as per traditional practice) in lime mortar similar to the existing traditional lime mortar 1:1:1 (1 lime: 1 coarse sand: 1 surkhi) after removing the damaged and out of plumb masonary from the vertical surfaces , as directed by Engineer incharge/ Architect, and including all leads, lifts and carriage. All complete.
12Supplying chemical emulsion in sealed containers including delivery as specified.Chlorpyriphos/ Lindane emulsifiable concentrate of 20%
13Diluting and injecting chemical emulsion for POST-CONSTRUCTIONAL anti- termite treatment (excluding the cost of chemical emulsion) :Along external wall where the apron is not provided using chemical emulsion @ 7.5 litres / sqm of the vertical surface of the substructure to a depth of 300mm includingexcavation channel along the wall & rodding etc. complete:With Chlorpyriphos/ Lindane E.C. 20% with 1% concentration

52Providing and creating plaster to achieve an artificial exposed brick masonry appearance by consolidating the existing damaged brickwork with lime mortar in the ratio 1:1:1 (1 part lime : 1 part surkhi : 1 part sand), including the addition of organic additives such as sugarcane molasses, bel extract, methi, etc., as per traditional practices, complete as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
53Providing and applying putty of 2 mm thickness over plastered surface to prepare the surface even and smooth complete.
54Applying priming coats with primer of approved brand and manufacture, having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) content. With water thinnable cement primer on wall surface having VOC content less than 50 grams/litre.
55Lime wall painting by any mechanical or manual means with breathable lime paint antiifungal , anti-bacterial and color rentention properties of approved brand , including applying additional coats wherever required to acheive smooth finish in approved shade of color as per direction of engineer-in-charge.
56Applying breathable, non-reactive, antifungal, and water repellent Silane/ Siloxane chemical as approved by Archaeological Survey of India/ Engineering-charge, of approved brand and manufacture, diluted with solvent mineral Turpentine oil in the ratio of 1:12 (One part of approved chemical :12 Part of Turpentine oil), on the existing sand stone masonry surface with two or more coats to give uniform application of chemical on the surface, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In- charge (The rate is inclusive of all materials & labours involved except scaffolding)
57Providing and fixing or replacing damaged teak wood with well seasoned second class teak wood. wood for door or window frames or members of decorative frame of the same original design, size and patternincluding all mouldings, rebating, holdfasts and any other necessary fittings and finishing with one coat ofprimer complete.Window or Door Frames (upto a section size of 150mm x 100mm).**150x 100mm cross-section frame of second class teak wood as per market availabe well seasoned.**Type of wood- Well Seasoned second class teak wood
58Door Restoration by providing and fixing or replacing damaged teak wood with well seasoned second class teak wood double leaves 50mm thick fully glazed openable shutters for doors/windows as per the originaldesign and pattern as instructed by the Architect including all necessary fitting brass hardware like screws,nails, hinges, tower bolts, handles, of the same design, size and weight, etc. complete.Item to also include making all the mouldings and design of the panels as in the original detail with all beading patti as per size etc., Item to include complete finishing of the shutter inclusive of primer andpaint or melamine polish as approved by the Architect. 59Providing and fixing glazed shutters for doors, windows and clerestory windows using 4 mm thick float glass panes (weight not less than 10 kg per sqm) fixing with ISI marked M.S. pressed butt hinges bright finished of required size with necessary screws.Second class teak wood-35 mm thick.

62Polishing in high gloss/matt finish melamine clear polish on wood work in required color/wooden shade texture with following process in the sequence as detailed below: 1. The surface to be polished is rubbed with sand paper 80/120 no. and then with sand paper of 160/180 nos. 2. Applying two coats of sealer with spray gun and allowing sufficient drying time for 1st coat and 2nd coat is allowed to dry for 8 to 12 hrs. 3. On drying of sealer coat, wet rubbing with emery cloth of finer grading with ample water to remove excess sealer layer and make the surface further smooth after this wet rubbing, then surface is applied with special grade melamine fillers to fill all the small and big holes/grooves etc. Filler coat to be allowed to dry for 4 to 6 hrs on which again a light wet rubbing is done this surface is further allowed to dry for 12 hrs. 4. On this, 1st coat of melamine polish is applied with spray gun using melamine clear polish and melamine thinner in required proportion. This 1st coat is allowed to dry for 24 hrs then this dry surface is again fine wet rubbed smooth, which is further allowed to dry for 12 hrs. The final melamine polish is applied with compressor pressure spray gun using melamine clear polish and melamine thinner mixed in required proportion complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. (Final coat to be done in 1 or 2 layers without gap of time.)

73Providing and laying Vitrified tiles in floor with different sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS:15622, of approved brand & manufacturer, in all colours and shade, laid with cement based high polymer modified quick set tile adhesive (water based) conforming to IS : 154 77, in average 6 mm thickness, including grouting of joints (Payment for grouting of joints to be made separately).- Size 600x600 mm
74Providing and fixing Ist quality ceramic glazed wall tiles conforming to IS : 15622(thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), of approved make, in all colours, shades except burgundy, bottle green, black of any size as approved by Engineer- in-Charge, in skirting, risers of steps and dados with cement based high polymer modified quick set tile adhesive (water based) conforming to IS: 15477, in average 6 mm thickness, including grouting of joints.
75Grouting the joints of flooring tiles having joints of 3 mm width, using epoxy grout mix of 0.70 kg of organic coated filler of desired shade (0.10 ) kg of hardener and 0.20 kg of resin per kg), including filling / grouting and finishing complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge.- Size 600x600 mm

81Providing and Laying of Micro-concrete of M30 grade for structural strengthening work as per approved methodology for columns/beams and other structural members for all leads & depths including base preparation, conveying (manually / mechanically) for all leads & depth, placing in position, compaction by mechanical means, curing, levelling & finishing of top surface, staging & scaffolding for concreting excluding cost of reinforcement etc. Complete. Incase thickness exceeds 100mm aggregates not exceeding 10mm would be added in ratio 50% of weight of microconcrete as directed by Engineer incharge. (In case the damaged RCC area exceeds in thickness by 40mm). The material is approved make of \\"FOSROC\\" Renderoc RG(L) Density 2100 kg/cum or equivalent for the same.
82Extraction of core cutting of 150/300 mm dia in slab/Wall ( 250 mm-450 mm deep) as per direction of structural engineer.
83Polishing the existing terrazzo flooring by repairing the damaged portions with a 6–10 mm thick layer of marble chips (1 mm to 4 mm nominal size) laid in acement–marble powder mix in the ratio 3:1 by weight (3 parts cement : 1 part marble powder), using a proportion of 4:7 by volume (4 parts cement–marble powder mix : 7 parts marble chips), including applying cement slurry and completing all operations as per the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge.
