| 14 | Cage fencing of 250 KVA Plinth mounted transformer in Town areas to avoid electrical human/cattle accidents by fabrication of cage (1 Inch Sq wiremesh) made of 10 No gauge in suitable size angle iron frame of size 7.5'(L)x5'(W)x8’(H) or Minimum 200 Sq Feet (As per Site Requirement)by strenghtening of wire mesh 20x3 mm M.S. flat haorizentally as well as vertically, Grouting the panel with 1:2:4 cement/coorse send/brick ballast. The Frame should be bolted on angles at the four corners so that frame may be un-bolted/bolted at the time of replacement of the transformer. Provision of 1 gate should be there for maintenance of the transformer. Painting (1 coat of red oxide + 2 coat of Bus green enamel paint). The wire mesh should be earthed with 50x6 mm MS earthing strip with existing earthing of Transformer Body. All men, material and T&P provided by the contractor to complete the fabrication, transportation and installation. |
| 15 | Pipe Earthing of Transformer (By boring of 4 inch diameter 20 m deep, 40 mm diameter A class GI pipe is inserted to a depth of 20 m and a holed pipe of 1.5 m length is inserted at the bottom. Tighten one end of the MS strip of size 50x6mm with the nut bolt with the neutral of the converter and weld the other end with the GI pipe inserted in the boring for earthing. Putting a socket on the upper part of the pipe (mouth) so that water can be poured into it to retain moisture. To complete the work Contractor will provide all material, Manpower, T&P, safe carriage of material to worksite. Above work will be carried out under supervision of concerned JE/SDO/EE) |
