| 4 | Dismantling/taking out old rusted / blocked /corroded, unsvervicable GI/CI pipe line laid in trenches / fixed to walls and ceilings or laid in floors with complete fittings of following sizes of bores mentioed under respective serial item nos.4.01 ,4.02,4.03,4.04,4.05,4.06,4.07,4.08 & 4.09 of Schedule 'A' BoQNotes:(a) Earth work such as excavation, returning filling and removal for pipe line shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items of Schedule 'A' BoQ.(b) Where old and new pipe lines are laid/relaid along the same alignment/location, earth work such as excavation, returning filling and removal shall be measured and paid only once. No duplicate measurement shall be admissible on this account. |

| 14 | Fixing and Testing only Cast Iron pipes ( retrived from serial item .4.01 ,4.02,4.03 & 4.04 here-in- before ) after removing rust and corrosion by thoroughly cleaning the surface of pipes with emery paper,and jointing with spun yarn/hemp and molten lead caulked joints (or approved rubber ring joints, wherever applicable) laid in trenches, for the following sizes/bores as mentioned under respective Serial Item Nos. 5.01, 5.02, 5.03 & 5.04 of Schedule 'A' BoQ complete all as specified and directed by the Engineer-in-Charge.Note: 1. The rate of removing rust and corrosion by throughly cleaning the surface of pipe with emery paper of old servicable pipes is included in this item and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.2. The rate for fixing of cast iron Pipes with spun yarn/hemp and molten lead caulked joints (or approved rubber ring joints, wherever applicable) is included in this item . Contractor shall quote his rate accordingly.Nothing shall be paid extra on this account.3. Cast Iron specials fittings of the pipes shall be measured and paid for separately under appropriate item of Schedule `A' BoQ.4 Earth work such as excavation, returning filling and removal for pipe line shall be measured and paid for separately under relevant items of Schedule 'A' BoQ.5.
