| 5 | Providing and fixing factory made uPVC half glazed door, of Rehau/ Fenesta/ Veka make, at all levels made out of all fittings and fixing at site and sealing of gaps as per the designs & specifications narrated below and as per direction of Engineer-in-charge, all complete comprising of the following:uPVC multi-chambered extruded profiles, comprising frame, mullion and sash (nos as per requirement), all having minimum wall thickness 2.2 mm +/- 0.5mm and galzing bead of appropriate dimension; Glass: 6 mm toughened glass with make of Saint Gobin or equivalent;GI Reinforcement: All the profile sections should be reinforced with GI sheet of 2.5mm +/- 0.5 mm thickness (shape & size according to uPVC profile). The reinforcement must have cleared a 20 days Salty Spray Test as per ASTM-B-117 guidelines from any testing agency as decided by Engineer-in-charge;Installation: The door must be aligned in plumb and water level and installed to the sill using high quality steel fasteners (stainless steel (SS-304 grade)). This item shall also include providing and fixing Pre laminated (both sides) fibre board of grade -1 MDF of18mm thickness conforming to IS 14587 with necesssary arrangements like screws and edge sealants. The outer frame and sill must be sealed with proper sealants by a skilled contractor and all accessories necessary for the fittings like EPDM gasket, SS fasteners etc. shall be brought by the contractor. Installation must carry a manufacturing warranty for a period of 10 years against manufacturing defects and 15 years for leak proof installation.Profile of frame, mullion and sash shall be conforming to technical specifications as mentioned in doc no: 32687-12-DA-009. After fixing frame the gap between frame and adjacent finished wall shall be filled with weather proof silicon sealant over backer rod of required size and of approved quality, all complete as per approved drawing or as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. Installations shall also include fixing handles/hooks/door closers for smooth operation and cutting and re-doing plastering work, as necessary on site as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge; All complete in the pattern and dimensions as per architectural drawings and as per direction of Engineer-in charge. Note: For uPVC frame, sash and mullion extruded profiles minus 5% tolerance in dimension i.e. in depth & width of profile shall be acceptable. Minimum profile width shall be 50mm. Variation in profile dimension in higher side shall be accepted but no extra payment on this account shall be made. |

Main chamber shall be reinforced with 2.0±0.5mm thick galvanised steel and frame shall be fixed to the wall with 8mmx100mm long fasteners including providing and fixing all fittings of stainless steel (SS-304 grade) including necessary stainless steel screws, etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. (Payment shall be for the outer area of window openings provided). | 9 | Providing and fixing Polyester powder coated aluminium (minimum thickness of polyester powder coating 50 micron) work for sliding ventilators with the following units :1. Fixed frame : Extruded built up standard tubular sections/ appropriate Z sections and other sections of approved make conforming to IS: 733 and IS: 1285, fixing with dash fasteners of required dia and size, including necessary filling up the gaps at junctions, i.e. at top, bottom and sides with required EPDM rubber/ neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / paneling, C.P. brass / stainless steel screws, all complete as per architectural drawings and the directions of Engineer-in-charge.2. Shutter : providing and fixing hinges/ pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket required.3. Sheeting: Providing and fixing 6mm thick acrylic cheet (clear) in ventilator shutters with EPDM rubber / neoprene gasket etc. complete as per the architectural drawings and the directions of engineer-incharge.4. Handle bar: Providing and fixing Polyester powder coated aluminium tubular 3.0 mm thick & 2100 mm long handle bar with direction of Engineer-in-Charge.All Fittings, fasteners etc. needed for complete and smooth operation of sliding ventilator frame shall be paid in this item only. Additional weatherseal beading shall be provided on the exterior face of ventilators to arrest water ingress towards conveyor interiors and the rate shall be quoted inclusive of the same. |
