| 6 | M & L for Laying and compacting 200 mm thick (compacted thickness) Granular Sub Base Course (GSB) grading as per Grade I as specified Table 400-1 of MaRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013, in a single layer over compacted subgrade with natural sand, crushed gravel, crushed stone, crushed slag or combination thereof as per the grading required The materials are mechanically mixed, spread and leveling on the subgrade by using motor grader of adequate capacity, and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-100 KN static weight for achieving required compaction density of atleast 98% of the Maximum Dry Density. Consolidating to required gradient and camber complete all as specified and directed with finished surface tolerances as per Table 900-1 of MaRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works, 2013 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 7 | M & L fo Laying and compacting 150 mm thick WMM laid in two layers of 75 mm each (compacted thickness) Wet Mix Macadam (WMM) grading as per table 400-13 of MaRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 manufactured in WMM plant material comprising of clean, crushed, graded aggregate and granular material premixed with wate to a dense mass, spreading with sensor paver and rolling with vibratory roller of capacity 80-1 OOKN static weight and consolidating to required gradien and camber complete all as specified and directed The finished surface tolerances to be as per Table 900-1 of MaRTH specifications for Road and Bridge works 2013 complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
| 8 | M & L for Preparing unsurfaced WMM top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with bituminous primer of paving bitumen VG-10 grade bitumen at 7.5Kg/10 Sqm all as specified..complete all as specified. |
| 9 | M & L Premix bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with 8 to 12 tone power roller (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with binder content paving bitumen VG-30 of 4% by weight of total mix laying with paver machine and mixing in hot mix plant complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: The contractor quoted the rate shall be deemed to include the following elements:1. The contractor shall got the mix design done through Govt approved lab and same shall be got approved from GE before incorporating in the work.2. In case variation in the bitumen content as per approved design mix in comparison with the bitumen content as specified above, the variation in the quantity of bitumen shall be adjusted with price adjustment. |
| 10 | M & L for Bitumanuous premixed asphaltic semi dense concrete 40mm consolidated thickness with bitumen of grade VG-30 with 5.5% binder content by weight of total mix duly rolled and compacted to required camber and gradient with 8-12 tonne power roller and vibrating roller etc incl applying tack coat @2.5 Kg/ 10 Sqm applying complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. Note: The contractor quoted the rate shall be deemed to include the following elements:1. | 13 | M & L Moorrum/red bajri shall be firm, levelled and provided with moorum 100mm thickness on either side of road, watered and rolled to active compacted surface. Berns should be dressed periodically south they always conform to the requisite cross fall and are not higher than the level of road at any point of time etc complete all as specified and directed by Engr-in-Charge. |
