Name of Work:- Annual Maintenance of 5 MLD Water Treatment Plant at Right Bank of Arasalar at Melaoduthurai, Karaikal for the period from July 2026 to June 2027
Sl. No. Item Description
1Maintenance of water treatment plant as per the following Maintenance of water treatment plant (5.0 MLD capacity) constructed on Right Bank of Arasalar river, Melaoduthurai Karaikal. The maintenance work shall comprise the following works as per the schedule appended for the Operational Period: (i) Engaging three operators per day ( 1 No per shift for 3 shifts in a day) during the month Six Helpers per day (2 per shift for 3 shifts in a day) Inspecting the plant by a qualified Engineer once in a month and /or whenever required.1. Make up and Dosage of Lime and Coagulants Chemicals2. Keeping records of the usage of required chemicals and report to Engineer in charge whenever the chemicals reach to minimum level.3. Monitoring and reporting the condition of the components of plant running status to Engineer in charge once in fortnight.4. General maintenance of pumps, motors, filters, control panel, Inter connecting pipe lines and reporting the faults to Engineer in charge.5. Removal of blockages in manholes/ conveyance lines etc.6. Maintaining required quantity of lubricant oil, Grease for pumps and Gear boxes.
27. Sending the Treated water and Raw Water samples to Lab as directed by Engineer in-charge.8. All type of regular maintenance and activities9. Suggestion and recommendation to keep the system in working condition10. Preventive Maintenance activities11. Replacement of Chlorine Toner.
3Maintenance of water treatment plant (5.0 MLD capacity) constructed at Right Bank of Arasalar river, Melaoduthurai Karaikal. The maintenance work shall comprise the following works as per the recommended schedule ( Non operation period) During Non- Operational Period:(i) Engaging three operators per day ( 1 No per Shift for 3 shifts in a day) Work timing 3 shifts in a day on working days & 1 Operator in General Shift during Week off and National Holiday. Make up and Dosage of Lime and Coagulants chemicals2. Keeping records of the required chemicals and report to Engineer in charge whenever the chemical reach to minimum level.3. Monitoring and reporting the plant running status to Engineer in charge4. General maintenance of pumps, motors, filters, control panel, Inter connecting pipe lines and reporting the faults to Engineer in charge.5. Removal of blocks in manholes/ conveyance lines etc.6. Maintaining required quantity of lubricant oil, Grease for pumps and Gear boxes.7. Sending the Treated water and Raw Water samples to Lab as directed by Engineer-in- charge.
