2Supply of RCC pole 11mtrs long conforming to IS standards as amended upto date. The Component used for pole shall conform to following IS amended upto date.Ordinary Port land cement 53 grade IS 12269 Aggregate IS 383-1970 Torsteel IS 1786-7985 MS bar IS 432 P 1&2-1982 The minimum ultimate transverse load of pole shall be 500kg and factor of safety shall be 2.5. The pole shall be marked as per IS.The poles shall be tested as per IS 785 & 2905-1989 as amended upto date at the manufactures works in the presence of the departmental representative and test reports shall be furnished for acceptance. The poles will be accepted subject to passing of tests and verification of reinforcement and concrete after breaking one pole from each lot.

4Supply & Providing of Cement Concrete 1:2:4 (1-cement: 2-sand :4-graded granite/basaltic aggregate 20mm nominal size ) including the cost of centering, shuttering & (muffing 0.3mts above ground only for DTC support foundation).Concreting as per the Specifications mentioned.Ordinary Portland Cement of grade 43 in HDPE bags of 50 KGs conforming to IS 8112.Cement should be filled in bags as per IS Specification. All bags should have ISI mark. The cement supplied shall be fresh and shall not be more than one month old from the date of manufacture. Cement concrete in the ratio 1:2:4(1 cement: 2 Sand, 4 graded granite/basaltic, aggregate 20mm nominal size) including cost of centering, shuttering & muffing 0.4mts above the ground & properly curved.
5Supply of H.D.G.I. DP Structure materials M.S. Angle of size 50 x 50 x 6 mm of minimum tensile strength 410 MPa conforming to IS 2062 as amended upto date. The sectional weight of steel shall be 4.5kg/m. The length of each piece shall be 4.5m to 6m.The rolling and cutting tolerances for weight and dimensions of steel shall be as per IS 1852-1985. Tests as per IS shall be carried out at the manufacturers works and test reports shall be furnished before supply of materials. The Department reserves the right to witness all the above tests.M.S. Channel 100 X 50 MM ISMC of minimum tensile strength 410 MPa conforming to IS 2062 as amended up to date. The sectional weight of steel shall be 9.2kg/m for M.S. Channel 100x50x6 MM ISMC. The sectional weight of steel shall be 7.14kg/m for M.S. 6Supply of HDGI 4 pin x arm channel type with clamps for 7.5 mts long RCC pole The cross arms shall be fitted vertically onto the top end of the poles, at a height conforming to the relevant I.E. rules & utilizing suitable size of HDGI clamps & HDGI washers, HDGI nut bolts.
7Supply of HDGI 2 pin x arm channel type with clamps for 7.5 mts long RCC pole The cross arms shall be fitted vertically onto the top end of the poles, at a height conforming to the relevant I.E. rules & utilizing suitable size of HDGI clamps & HDGI washers, HDGI nut bolts.
8Supply of Cut point Channel 1.3 mtr long Cross arms shall be made of HDGI channel of size ISMC 75X40X7.3mm. hot dip galvanizing generally conforming to IS – 2633/72 a. The cross arm shall not be welded/joined at any place . The cross arms shall be fitted horizontally on to the top end of the poles at a height conforming to the relevant I.E. Rules and utilizing suitable size of HDGI clamps, HDGI Nut & Bolts.The length of cut point cross arm should be 1.3 mtrs
9Supply ofHDGI Guard X arm of Channel ISMC 75 x 40 mm x7.3mm 1.5 mts long for 11 kV , as per specifications enclosed. All clamps & suitable nut bolts shall be hot dipped galvanized generally conforming to IS - 2633/72 and should be fitted with nut bolts.
10Supply of HDGI 11KV V-Shape X arm Cross arms shall be made of HDGI channel of size ISMC 75X40X7.3mm. hot dip galvanizing generally conforming to IS – 2633/72 . The cross arm shall not be welded/joined at any place . The cross arms shall be fitted horizontally on to the top end of the poles at a height conforming to the relevant I.E. Rules and utilizing suitable size of HDGI clamps, HDGI Nut & Bolts.
11Supply of HDGI Top fitting for 11KV The HDGI TOP insulator fitting shall be fitted horizontally on to the top end of the poles at a height conforming to the relevant I.E. Rules and utilizing suitable size of HDGI clamps, HDGI Nut & Bolts.
12Supply of 11kv Disc insulators with metal parts 45KN 11 KV disc insulators ball and socket type, type ‘A’ porcelain brown glazed duly cemented at factory with MCI socket cap, forged steel ball pin and supplied with Phosphor bronze “W” split pin as per IS 731-1971 as amended upto date. Minimum failing load. 45 KN.Pin ball diameter 16 mm. Minimum Creepage distance 320 mm. Ferrous parts shall be galvanized as per relevant IS. Insulator shall be marked as per IS. Acceptance tests and routine tests shall be carried out as per IS by the manufacturer and test results shall be furnished by the manufacturer before supply of materials.Department reserves the right to witness all the above tests. 3-bolted type hardware fitting suitable for 11KV ball and socket type disc insulators of 16mm pin, failing load of 45KN and suitable for ACSR WEASEL conductor. The metal parts shall be conform to IS-2486 Part 1-1993, 2486 Part 2-1989 as amended upto date.All iron parts should be hot dip galvanized as per IS:2629/1985 as amended upto dateAcceptance tests and routine tests shall be carried out by the manufacturer’s works and test reports shall be furnished before supply of materials. 13Supply of11kv Pin insulators with GI pins Forged G. I. Pin conforming to IS 2486 part 1 & 2 as amended upto date suitable for 11 KV glazed porcelain pin insulators conforming to IS: 731/71 as amended upto date. G. I pin shall conform to reference S-165 N fig. 5 of IS: 2486/ (part-II)/74 as amended upto date. Dimensions ‘X’ in said fig. shall be 150 mm (screwed 100 mm). Pin shall be supplied along with one suitable G. I. hexagonal nut and G. I. spring washer. Minimum failing load of pin shall be 10 KN.G. I. pins and nuts shall be hot dip galvanized as per IS: 2629/66 as amended up to date. The washers shall be electro galvanized.Acceptance tests and Routine tests shall be carried out at the manufacturers works and test reports shall be furnished before supply of materials.Department reserves the right to witness all the above tests.
14Supply of HDGI x arm clamps for RCC Pole 11mts long LA All clamps & suitable nut bolts shall be hot dipped galvanized generally conforming to IS - 2633/72 and should be fitted with nut bolts.
15Supply of HDGI x arm clamps for RCC Pole 11mts long SA All clamps & suitable nut bolts shall be hot dipped galvanized generally conforming to IS - 2633/72 and should be fitted with nut bolts.
16Supply of HDGI x arm clamps for RCC Pole 7.5mts long LA All clamps & suitable nut bolts shall be hot dipped galvanized generally conforming to IS - 2633/72 and should be fitted with nut bolts.

20Supply of LA stay clamps for 9mt RCC pole All clamps & suitable nut bolts shall be hot dipped galvanized generally conforming to IS - 2633/72 and should be fitted with nut bolts.
21Supply of Stay sets complete for 11 mtr RCC pole , HDGI Stay Sets Complete Comprising of stay rod with plate, HDGI stay wire of size 7/10swg, Break insulator of 15KV/8KV,HDGI turn buckle with eye bolt, suitable HDGI stay clamps, HDGI nut bolts, The Stay wire shall comply with the specific requirements of IS: 2141-1979, IS: 4826-1979 & IS: 6594-1974 or the latest versions thereof. The wires shall be of tensile grade 4 & having minimum tensile strength of 700 N/mm2 conforming to IS: 2141. GI stay rod of 1800mm long and 16mm dia with an eye band of internal dia 40mm at one end and threaded up to length of 200mm at the other end galvanized. GI stay plate of 450x450x8mm size with a hole drilled at the centre to suit 16mm dia GI rod galvanized. GI stay wire standard of size 7/3.15mm (7/10SWG) wire should conform to ISS-2141/68 grade I and hot dipped galvanized as per IS 4826/1968 with up to date amendments. Two nos of GI square washer of size 40x40x6mm to suit the 16mm dia GI rod. Two nos of GI hexagonal nut and bolt suitable for threaded portion of the stay rod mentioned above and conforming to IS-1365/67 with amendment No-1. All the GI materials shall conform to IS-226/75 with amendment No- 1 to 3 tested quality. The breaking load shall be 63KN min proof load (40% of breaking load shall be performed on all the stay sets. These figures have been taken from IS-16/74 with amendment No. . Turn buckle with eye bolts for 11KV line & conforming to the following. One no of turn buckle made out of 16mm dia GI rod and 50x50x6mm M.S. angle galvanized. One eye bolt made out of 20mm dia GI rod with 40mm inner dia eye at one end threaded up to 300mm length from the other side.Two no’s GI nuts suitable for the threaded portion of eye bolt material specification IS-226/77 (tested quality) The breaking load and proof load shall be as per BS16/64 with amendment No-1. GI wire with tensile strength 32Kg/mm to 55Kg/mm soft quality 4.00mm dia 8SWG wire should conform to ISS-280/1972 and galvanized to heavy type as per ISS-4826/1968 with up to date amendments. The strain insulators shall be sound, free from defects, thoroughly vitrified & smoothly glazed & shall comply with the IS: 5300-1969 or the latest version thereof. The L.T. strain insulator shall have a minimum failing load of 44KN.
22Supply of AA 'ANT' Conductor Includes spreading of AAC Conductors without any damage and stringing with proper tension without any kinks/damage including binding of conductor at pin points, jumpering at cut points, guard loops.. etc. The ground & line clearances at road crossings, along roads, L.T. crossings & other crossings shall be as the relevant I.E. rules. Tree cutting wherever required is to be carried out before stringing of the Conductor with prior permission of the Engineer in charge. The rates for Stringing of conductor in Schedule-II shall in¬clude cost of tree cutting as well. AAC Ant conductor for phases.
23Supply of ACSR Weasel conductor for earthing & jumpering Includes spreading of ACSR conductor without any damage and stringing with proper tension without any kinks/damage including binding of conductor at pin points, jumpering at cut points etc. The ground & line clearances at road crossings, along roads, Crossings & other crossings shall be as the relevant I.E. Rules. Tree cutting wherever required is to be carried out before stringing of the Conductor with prior permission of the Engineer in charge. The rates for Stringing of conductor in Schedule-II shall include cost of tree cutting as well.
24Supply of LT shackle insulator with HDGI metal parts The L.T. Shackle insulators (as per the approved drawing) shall be of brown glazed of size 100x115 mm generally conforming to type 2 figures 4 of IS/445/1966 with amendment no. 1 and as amended upto date & also with IS: 1445/1977 or as amended upto date. The fittings shall be conforming to IS: 7935-1975 or the latest version thereof. The same shall be suitable of a normal system voltage of 440volts with tolerance limits of +-5%. The shackle insulator shall be suitable for the minimum failing load of 16.0 KN. The insulator shall comply to the tests as per IS: 1445. All ferrous fittings & parts other than that of stainless steel shall be hot dipped galvan¬ized.The Strip type fittings shall consists of a pair of M.S. straps, 2 nos. M.S. Bolts with hexagonal head & nuts, 2 nos. spring washers & helically formed conductor dead-end fittings made of aluminum alloy or aluminum-clad steel conforming to the relevant IS specifications
25Supply of LT Pin insulator with GI Pin The pin insulators shall be of sound, free from defects, thoroughly vitrified & smoothly glazed of brown color except for the screw threads & the parts on which the porcelain is supported. The insulator shall be in one piece. The pin insulator shall have a top groove & shall be threaded to take mild steel pins & shall conform to IS: 1445-1977. The pin shall be suitable for the minimum failing load of 3.5KN. The insula¬tor shall comply to the tests as per IS: 1445. The fittings shall be conf to IS: 7935-1975 or the latest version thereof & as per approved drawing. The ferrous pin, nuts & washers except those made of stainless steel shall be hot dipped galvanized. The threads of nuts shall be cut after galvanizing & shall be well oiled & greased. The pin shall have a stalk length of 135mm, shank length of 125mm & minimum failing load of 2.0 KN, as per approved drawing EE-11-10/2003.
26Supply of Anti climbing devices with clamps (barbed wire) Hot dip galvanized steel barbed wire type 4 conforming to IS:278/1962 as amended upto date and galvanization conforming to IS:4826/1979as amended upto date.Nominal diameter of line wire and point wire shall be 2.24mm each. Nominal distance between the two barbs shall be 150mm. The weight of the each coil shall be 25 to 35 kg exclusive of weight of the reel.Tests as per IS shall be carried out at the manufacturer’s work & test reports shall be furnished before supply of materials. The department reserves the right to witness all the above tests.
27Supply of Enamelled Danger boards for 11 KV Enamelled danger board 440Volts/ 11000 Volts /3300 Volts:The plate should be made from mild steel at least 1.6mm thick and vitreous enamelled whitewith letters,figures, and convectional skull and bones in singnal red colour on the front sidfe. The rear side of the plate shall be enamelled .All lettering should be centrally spaced the corners of the plate should be rounded offSizw \\"250mm x 200mm.
28Supply of Earthing with 40mm, 2.5 mm long GI pipe complete with chamber with brick masonary. Earthing pipe made of Hot Dip galvanized steel tube of heavy class, 40mm nominal bore conforming to IS 1239 Part 1 1990 as amended upto date and Hot Dip zinc coating shall conform to IS 4736-1968 as amended upto date
29Supply of HDGI nut & bolt The bolts and nuts shall be hot dip galvanized as per IS: 2629-1985 as amended upto date. Bolts and nuts shall be supplied in bags of 25 kgs each. The testing of galvanization of bolts and nutsshall be carried out by the manufacturer and test reports shall be furnished before supply of materials.Department reserves the right to witness above testing.
30Supply of 11 KV GOAB switch 200A 12 KV rated voltage GOAB switches tilting type, outdoor, manually operated, triple pole, single break, conforming to IS: 9921-Part1 to V as amended upto date and detailed specifications enclosed herewith. Each set shall comprise of six pedestal and three tilting post insulators. Insulator should be factory cemented by the manufactures of the insulators and have minimum 320mm creepage distance and AB switches contacts shall be of copper/copper alloy. The AB switches shall be of 200 A current ratings:
31Supply of HG fuse unit 11 KV 200A 11 KV H. G. fuse unit shall be as per specifications enclosed herewithRoutine tests and acceptance for post insulators as per IS-2544-1973 as amended upto date and shall be carried out at the manufacturers works and test reports shall be furnished before supply of materials.The Department reserves the right to witness all the above tests.
32Supply of 9 KV 5 KA lightening arrestors 9 KV, 5 KA nominal discharge current Metal Oxide gapless distribution class lightning arrestor conforming to IEC-60099-4 and IS 3070 Part 3 1993 as amended upto date suitable for 11 KV 50 HZ effectively earthed neutral system with necessary mounting arrangements and connector suitable to connect ACSR conductor upto overall diameter 12.30 mm.The marking of the Lightning Arrestors shall be as per IS The Acceptance tests and routine tests shall be carried out at the manufacturers works and test reports shall be furnished before supply of materials.The Department reserves the right to witness all the above tests.
33Supply of Distribution Box(MS) with 400A MCCB & kit kat fuses The MS distribution box shall be designed as per the general specifications . The same shall be manufactured and supplied only after the Executive Engineer has approved the design and after the Executive Engineer accepts sample. After acceptance of the sample the Distribution box shall be supplied & erected. The distribution box should be mounted vertically on the ground with proper foundation. The rate specified is inclusive of foundation work, etc. The Distribution box shall be provided with two doors & MCCB of 400A capacity and Kit Kat fuses with 200A ratings shall be provided. A separate compartment with a separate door with sealing arrangement, exclusively for energy meter shall be provided.

49Fixing of HDGI 11KV V-Shape X arm Cross arms shall be made of HDGI channel of size ISMC 75X40X7.3mm. hot dip galvanizing generally conforming to IS – 2633/72 . The cross arm shall not be welded/joined at any place . The cross arms shall be fitted horizontally on to the top end of the poles at a height conforming to the relevant I.E. Rules and utilizing suitable size of HDGI clamps, HDGI Nut & Bolts.
50Fixing of HDGI Top fitting for 11KV The HDGI TOP insulator fitting shall be fitted horizontally on to the top end of the poles at a height conforming to the relevant I.E. Rules and utilizing suitable size of HDGI clamps, HDGI Nut & Bolts.
51Fixing of 11kv Disc insulators with metal parts 45KN 11 KV disc insulators ball and socket type, type ‘A’ porcelain brown glazed duly cemented at factory with MCI socket cap, forged steel ball pin and supplied with Phosphor bronze “W” split pin as per IS 731-1971 as amended upto date. Minimum failing load. 45 KN.Pin ball diameter 16 mm. Minimum Creepage distance 320 mm. Ferrous parts shall be galvanized as per relevant IS. Insulator shall be marked as per IS. Acceptance tests and routine tests shall be carried out as per IS by the manufacturer and test results shall be furnished by the manufacturer before supply of materials.Department reserves the right to witness all the above tests. 3-bolted type hardware fitting suitable for 11KV ball and socket type disc insulators of 16mm pin, failing load of 45KN and suitable for ACSR WEASEL conductor. The metal parts shall be conform to IS-2486 Part 1-1993, 2486 Part 2-1989 as amended upto date.All iron parts should be hot dip galvanized as per IS:2629/1985 as amended upto dateAcceptance tests and routine tests shall be carried out by the manufacturer’s works and test reports shall be furnished before supply of materials. 52Fixing of11kv Pin insulators with GI pins Forged G. I. Pin conforming to IS 2486 part 1 & 2 as amended upto date suitable for 11 KV glazed porcelain pin insulators conforming to IS: 731/71 as amended upto date. G. I pin shall conform to reference S-165 N fig. 5 of IS: 2486/ (part-II)/74 as amended upto date. Dimensions ‘X’ in said fig. shall be 150 mm (screwed 100 mm). Pin shall be supplied along with one suitable G. I. hexagonal nut and G. I. spring washer. Minimum failing load of pin shall be 10 KN.G. I. pins and nuts shall be hot dip galvanized as per IS: 2629/66 as amended up to date. The washers shall be electro galvanized.Acceptance tests and Routine tests shall be carried out at the manufacturers works and test reports shall be furnished before supply of materials.Department reserves the right to witness all the above tests.

60Providing of Stay sets complete for 9 mtr RCC pole , HDGI Stay Sets Complete Comprising of stay rod with plate, HDGI stay wire of size 7/10swg, Break insulator of 15KV/8KV,HDGI turn buckle with eye bolt, suitable HDGI stay clamps, HDGI nut bolts, The Stay wire shall comply with the specific requirements of IS: 2141-1979, IS: 4826-1979 & IS: 6594-1974 or the latest versions thereof. The wires shall be of tensile grade 4 & having minimum tensile strength of 700 N/mm2 conforming to IS: 2141. GI stay rod of 1800mm long and 16mm dia with an eye band of internal dia 40mm at one end and threaded up to length of 200mm at the other end galvanized. GI stay plate of 450x450x8mm size with a hole drilled at the centre to suit 16mm dia GI rod galvanized. GI stay wire standard of size 7/3.15mm (7/10SWG) wire should conform to ISS-2141/68 grade I and hot dipped galvanized as per IS 4826/1968 with up to date amendments. Two nos of GI square washer of size 40x40x6mm to suit the 16mm dia GI rod. Two nos of GI hexagonal nut and bolt suitable for threaded portion of the stay rod mentioned above and conforming to IS-1365/67 with amendment No-1. All the GI materials shall conform to IS-226/75 with amendment No- 1 to 3 tested quality. The breaking load shall be 63KN min proof load (40% of breaking load shall be performed on all the stay sets. These figures have been taken from IS-16/74 with amendment No. Conforming to Drawing enclosed. Turn buckle with eye bolts for 11KV line & conforming to the following. One no of turn buckle made out of 16mm dia GI rod and 50x50x6mm M.S. angle galvanized. One eye bolt made out of 20mm dia GI rod with 40mm inner dia eye at one end threaded up to 300mm length from the other side.Two no’s GI nuts suitable for the threaded portion of eye bolt material specification IS-226/77 (tested quality) The breaking load and proof load shall be as per BS16/64 with amendment No-1. GI wire with tensile strength 32Kg/mm to 55Kg/mm soft quality 4.00mm dia 8SWG wire should conform to ISS-280/1972 and galvanized to heavy type as per ISS-4826/1968 with up to date amendments. The strain insulators shall be sound, free from defects, thoroughly vitrified & smoothly glazed & shall comply with the IS: 5300-1969 or the latest version thereof. The L.T. strain insulator shall have a minimum failing load of 44KN.
61Stringing of AA 'ANT' Conductor Includes spreading of AAC Conductors without any damage and stringing with proper tension without any kinks/damage including binding of conductor at pin points, jumpering at cut points, guard loops.. etc. The ground & line clearances at road crossings, along roads, L.T. crossings & other crossings shall be as the relevant I.E. rules. Tree cutting wherever required is to be carried out before stringing of the Conductor with prior permission of the Engineer in charge. The rates for Stringing of conductor in Schedule-II shall in¬clude cost of tree cutting as well. AAC Ant conductor for phases.

63Fixing of LT shackle insulator with HDGI metal parts The L.T. Shackle insulators (as per the approved drawing) shall be of brown glazed of size 100x115 mm generally conforming to type 2 figures 4 of IS/445/1966 with amendment no. 1 and as amended upto date & also with IS: 1445/1977 or as amended upto date. The fittings shall be conforming to IS: 7935-1975 or the latest version thereof. The same shall be suitable of a normal system voltage of 440volts with tolerance limits of +-5%. The shackle insulator shall be suitable for the minimum failing load of 16.0 KN. The insulator shall comply to the tests as per IS: 1445. All ferrous fittings & parts other than that of stainless steel shall be hot dipped galvan¬ized.The Strip type fittings shall consists of a pair of M.S. straps, 2 nos. M.S. Bolts with hexagonal head & nuts, 2 nos. spring washers & helically formed conductor dead-end fittings made of aluminum alloy or aluminum-clad steel conforming to the relevant IS specifications
64Fixing of LT Pin insulator with GI Pin. The pin insulators shall be of sound, free from defects, thoroughly vitrified & smoothly glazed of brown color except for the screw threads & the parts on which the porcelain is supported. The insulator shall be in one piece. The pin insulator shall have a top groove & shall be threaded to take mild steel pins & shall conform to IS: 1445-1977. The pin shall be suitable for the minimum failing load of 3.5KN. The insula¬tor shall comply to the tests as per IS: 1445. The fittings shall be conf to IS: 7935-1975 or the latest version thereof & as per approved drawing. The ferrous pin, nuts & washers except those made of stainless steel shall be hot dipped galvanized. The threads of nuts shall be cut after galvanizing & shall be well oiled & greased. The pin shall have a stalk length of 135mm, shank length of 125mm & minimum failing load of 2.0 KN, as per approved drawing EE-11-10/2003.
65Fixing of Anti climbing devices with clamps (barbed wire) Hot dip galvanized steel barbed wire type 4 conforming to IS:278/1962 as amended upto date and galvanization conforming to IS:4826/1979as amended upto date.Nominal diameter of line wire and point wire shall be 2.24mm each. Nominal distance between the two barbs shall be 150mm. The weight of the each coil shall be 25 to 35 kg exclusive of weight of the reel.Tests as per IS shall be carried out at the manufacturer’s work & test reports shall be furnished before supply of materials. The department reserves the right to witness all the above tests.
66Fixing of Enamelled Danger boards for 11 KV Enamelled danger board 440Volts/ 11000 Volts /3300 Volts:The plate should be made from mild steel at least 1.6mm thick and vitreous enamelled whitewith letters,figures, and convectional skull and bones in singnal red colour on the front sidfe. The rear side of the plate shall be enamelled .All lettering should be centrally spaced the corners of the plate should be rounded offSizw \\"250mm x 200mm.
67Providing of Earthing with 40mm, 2.5 mm long GI pipe complete with chamber with brick masonary. Earthing pipe made of Hot Dip galvanized steel tube of heavy class, 40mm nominal bore conforming to IS 1239 Part 1 1990 as amended upto date and Hot Dip zinc coating shall conform to IS 4736-1968 as amended upto date
68Fixing of HDGI nut & bolt The bolts and nuts shall be hot dip galvanized as per IS: 2629-1985 as amended upto date. Bolts and nuts shall be supplied in bags of 25 kgs each. The testing of galvanization of bolts and nutsshall be carried out by the manufacturer and test reports shall be furnished before supply of materials.Department reserves the right to witness above testing.
69Erection of 100 KVA, Distribution transformer . All bolts, studs, screw threads, pipe threads, bolt heads and nuts shall comply with the appropriate Indian Standards for metric threads, or the technical equivalent.Bolts or studs shall not be less than 6 mm in diameter except when used for small wiring terminals.All nuts and pins shall be adequately locked.Wherever possible bolts shall be fitted in such a manner that in the event of failure of locking resulting in the nuts working loose and falling off, the bolt will remain in position.All ferrous bolts, nuts and washers placed in outdoor positions shall be treated to prevent corrosion, by hot dip galvanising, except high tensile steel bolts and spring washers which shall be electro galvanised/ plated. Appropriate precautions shall be taken to prevent electrolytic action between dissimilar metals.Each bolt or stud shall project at least one thread but not more than three threads through the nut, except when otherwise approved for terminal board studs or relay stems. If bolts nuts are placed so that they are inaccessible by means of ordinary spanners, special spanners shall be provided.The length of the screwed portion of the bolts shall be such that no screw thread may form part of a shear plane between members.Taper washers shall be provided where necessary.Protective washers of suitable material shall be provided front and back or the securing screws.
70Providing of 11 KV GOAB switch 200A 12 KV rated voltage GOAB switches tilting type, outdoor, manually operated, triple pole, single break, conforming to IS: 9921-Part1 to V as amended upto date and detailed specifications enclosed herewith. Each set shall comprise of six pedestal and three tilting post insulators. Insulator should be factory cemented by the manufactures of the insulators and have minimum 320mm creepage distance and AB switches contacts shall be of copper/copper alloy. The AB switches shall be of 200 A current ratings:

72Fixing of 9 KV 5 KA lightening arrestors 9 KV, 5 KA nominal discharge current Metal Oxide gapless distribution class lightning arrestor conforming to IEC-60099-4 and IS 3070 Part 3 1993 as amended upto date suitable for 11 KV 50 HZ effectively earthed neutral system with necessary mounting arrangements and connector suitable to connect ACSR conductor upto overall diameter 12.30 mm.The marking of the Lightning Arrestors shall be as per IS The Acceptance tests and routine tests shall be carried out at the manufacturers works and test reports shall be furnished before supply of materials.The Department reserves the right to witness all the above tests.
73Fixing of Distribution Box(MS) with 400A MCCB & kit kat fuses The MS distribution box shall be designed as per the general specifications g. The same shall be manufactured and supplied only after the Executive Engineer has approved the design and after the Executive Engineer accepts sample. After acceptance of the sample the Distribution box shall be supplied & erected. The distribution box should be mounted vertically on the ground with proper foundation. The rate specified is inclusive of foundation work, etc. The Distribution box shall be provided with two doors & MCCB of 400A capacity and Kit Kat fuses with 200A ratings shall be provided. A separate compartment with a separate door with sealing arrangement, exclusively for energy meter shall be provided.
