1Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to wet mix macadam specification including premixing the Material with water at OMC inmechanical mix plant carriage of mixed Material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with paver in sub- base/ base course on well prepared surface and compacting withvibratory roller to achieve the desired density in accordance toTable No. 400-12, 400-13 and as per clause ofsection 406 of specifications.
2Prime coat : Providing and applying primer coat with bitumen emulsion on prepared surface of granular Base including clearing of road surface and spraying primer at the rate of 0.75 kg/sqm using mechanical means asper clause 502 ofspecifications.
3Providing and applying tack coat with catonic bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion pressure distributor on theprepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom and as per relevant clauses of section-503 of specifications. : (ii) @0.30 kg persqm (dry& hungrybituminous surfaces /granuIar surfaces treated with primer
4Providing and applying tack coat with catonic bitumen emulsion (RS-1) using emulsion pressure distributor on the prepared bituminous/granular surface cleaned with mechanical broom and as per relevant clauses of section-503 of specifications.: (i) @ 0.25 kg per sqm (normalbituminous surfaces)
5Providing and laying bituminous macadam using crushed aggregates of specified grading premixed with bituminous binder, transported to site, laid overa previously prepared surface with paver finisher to the required grade, level and alignment and rolled as per clauses 501.6 and 501.7 to achieve the desired compaction and as per clause 504 ofspecifications.: a) Using Batch Mix Plnt of appropriatecapacity and Paver finisher Hydraustaticwith Sensor.: (ii) for GradingII(19 mm nominal size)bitumen content 3.5%
6Providing, laying and rolling of close-graded premix surfacing material of 20 mm thickness composed of11.2 mm to 0.09 mm (Type-A) or 13.2 mm to 0.09 mm (Type-B) aggregates using penetration grade bitumen tothe required line, grade and level to serve as wearing course ona previously prepared base, including mixing ina suitable plant, laying and rolling witha Smooth wheeled roller 8-10 tonne capacity & finishing to required level and grade all complete as per clause 508 ofspecifications. a) with 60/70 butumen (VG-30) : (i) Type-A(Bitumen@ 22 kgper10sqm)
7Seal Coat Providing and laying seal coat sealing the voids ina bituminous surface laid to the specified levels, grade and cross fall using TypeA andB seal coats all complete as per clause 511 ofspecification.: (i) Case-I : TypeA Providing and laying of liquid seal coat comprising of an application of layer of bitumen binder followed by a caver of story chips. All complete as per clause 511 ofspecification.
8Embankment Construction with Material Obtained from BorrowPits Construction of embankment with approvedmaterial having CBR>7 obtained from borrow pits with all lifts and leads, transporting to site, spreading, grading torequired slope and compacting to meetrequirement of table 300-1, 300-2 and asperrelevent clauses ofsection-300.
