| 36 | NOTES FOR TREE PLANTED UNDER ARBORICULTURE :- (i) Height of plant shall be measured from top of follage (not from the isolated branch / leaf, main stem) to 150 mm from top of root. (ii) Water will not be supplied by MES for arboriculture. Contractor has to make his own arrangement for watering to plants and grass. (iii) The rates quoted by the contractor deemed to include watering, maintenance of plants / grass till two years after certified date of completion of work.(iv). During two years after completion if any plant / grass is found dead or not of satisfactory growth, plants / grass of approved size and shape shall be provided without any extra cost to the Govt.(v). Supply and application of manure, sweet earth and pesticides, fertilizers etc up to two years after completion are deemed to be included in the quoted unit rate.(vi) In case of failure by the contractor to maintain the plants / grass as above, the same shall be carried out by the department at his Risk and Cost.(vii) The plants shall be brought at site Six months before the date of completion of the work as per Work order. |
