1To perform under term contract such services and execute such works on the terms and conditions contained or referred to in the MES standard schedule of rates 2009 Part-I (specification) and MES standard schedule of rates 2020 Part II (Rates) together with errata/amendments as mentioned in the tender documents and upon the conditions contained in tender documents, as may be demanded and as are enumerated in theaforesaid standard schedule of rates during the period of one year (365 days) from the date of acceptance at the rates contained in the aforesaid MES standard schedule of rates or at such other rates as may be fixed under the provision of condition 62 of General conditions of contract \"(IAFW-2249)\" 1989 print with errata/amendments mentioned in the tender documents.Note :- (i) Tenderer shall insert percentage rate at the 15th row in the column No. 6 of this BOQ Excel sheet.(ii)Tenderer shall refer and select the option Excess (+) or less (-) available at the 15th row in the column No 5 of this BOQ Excel sheet to quote the percentage above/below MES Standard Schedule of Rates.(iii) Amount inserted by the MES under rate column and the total amount reflected in this page is a rough guidence and for reference only. Similiarly the quoted amount worked out (based on percentage rate quoted by contractor) shall also be treated as rough and for reference only. The acceptance of contractor\"s offer shall be done for quoted percentage rate on MES Standard Schedule of Rates. The work orders for various works/services shall be placed for amount worked out/priced on the rates contained in MES Standard Schedule of Rates Part II duly adjusted by Percentage rate quoted by contractor.(iv) Contractor\"s special attention is invited to condition \"4 (A) WORKS TO BE CARRIED OUT (APPLICABLE ONLY TO TERM CONTRACTORS)\" and condition \"56 TERMINATION OF CONTRACT (APPLICABLE ONLY TO TERM CONTRACTS)\" of \"General conditions of Contracts (IAFW-2249)\". The provision of these conditions of \"General Conditions of Contracts (IAFW-2249)\"are strictly to be followed.(v) It is an express condition of this contract that the amount of total works/services required to be done under this contract can vary to any extant irrespective of the amount worked out/mentioned in this BOQ sheet and contractor shall be bound to execute such works/services at the rates contained in MES Standard Schedule of Rates 2020 Part II duly adjusted by quoted percentage rate during contract period. No claim of the contractor shall be entertained due to increase or decrease in quantum of work required to be done/work done.
