Tender For Repair/ Recarpeting Of Certain Roads And Road Furnitures At Md And Otm Accn At Various Location At Age B/R- I Under Ge Shillong; 1 Demolition and breaking up drain pipes (Salt glazed ware, AC or reinforced concrete) of internal dia 300 mm, set in cement mortar complete all as specified and as directed. 2 Taking down eaves gutters and rainwater pipes (any size or pattern), soil waste pipes (any size or pattern), including all fittings, heads, shoes, bends, swan-necks, etc., including cleaning for refixing or removal to Store or taken on schedule of credit (measured overall as fixed along the centre line over fittings and accessories) complete all as specified and as directed. 3 Demolition of brick work or stone/boulder masonry, built in cement mortar including all quoins, arches, pillars, etc. complete all as specified and directed. 4 Demolition of reinforced cement concrete (reinforcement cut as required to facilitate demolition) in any position below or above ground floors, not exceeding 15 cm in depth complete all as specified and as directed. 5 Demolition of cement concrete(unreinforced) in ground floors and paving not exceeding 15 cm thickness (below or above ground level) and complete all as specified and as directed. 6 Scarifying or picking gravelled, macadam or bituminous macadam surfaces in area not exceeding 400 sqm, depth exceeding 50 mm but not exceeding 100 mm complete all as specified and as directed. 7 Repair to potholes any depth, not exceeding 1 sqm each including sweeping free from dust and mud, or water, scoring sunken surfaces in roads, paths, etc., cutting around edges to at least 25 mm in depth, making good by applying tack coat at the rate of 5 kg per 10 Sqm, putting in bituminous macadam well rammed (including supply of bituminious carpet, binder and chhipping) and sealed with bitumen 9.8 kg per 10 sqm blinded with 0.09 cum stone chippings, 6.3 mm size depth of pot holes exc 30mm and rolled and compacted with power roller 8 to 10 tonnes to required camber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed. 8 M & L for 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of lime stone, sand stone, flint or quartzite of grading 2 (63 to 45 mm size) or of grading 3 (53 to 22.4 mm size), spread, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with three wheel-power roller of 80 to 100 kN capacity or an equivalent vibratory roller complete all as specified and as directed. 9 All as per item No.8 but except materials for 7.5 cm thick (compacted thickness) WBM, with coarse aggregates of lime stone, sand stone, flint or quartzite of grading 2 (63 to 45 mm size) or of grading 3 (53 to 22.4 mm size), spread, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber with three wheel-power roller of 8 to 112 ton capacity or an equivalent vibratory roller complete all as specified and as directed. 10 Rolling and consolidation of Water bound macadam (except laterite, kankar and broken brick aggregates)exc100mm compacted thickness with 08 to 12 tonne power roller complete all as specified and directed. 11 Preparing unsurfaced water bound macadam surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed. 12 M & L for applying evenly a priming coat with bituminous primer (paving grade bitumen VG-10 grade) @ 10 kg per 10 sq metres complete all as specified & as directed. 13 Preparing existing black top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc., sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc. complete all as specified and as directed. 14 M&L for applying a tack coat of cationic bitumen emulsion (RS1) conforming to IS: 8887 at a rate ofapplication of 0.20- 0.30kg/ sqm on bituminious surfaceas specified in Table- 500-3 of MoRTH specifications for road and bridge work 2013, using mechanical sprayer after cleaning of existing surface completeall as specified and directed . 15 Material and labour for providing premixed bituminous macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tone capacity power roller (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) using paving bitumen (VG 30 Grade) @ 4% by weight of total mix complete all as specified and directed. Note:- (i) The exact bitumen content required shall be determined Mix Design procedure and approved by GE. The adjustment in rate on MINUS side variation in quantity of bitumen if any shall be priced at the rate of ₹67 per kg. No claim whatsoever shall be made for adjustment in plus side. (ii) Bituminous macadam shall be laid using self propelled hydrostatic paver finisher and preparation of mix shall be using hot mix plant and transporting the mix in tipper. 16 Material and labourfor bituminous premixed semi-dense asphaltic concrete, 40mm consolidated thickness using 5.5% paving bitumen (VG 30 Grade) binder content any penetrationby weight of totalmix, mixed in central computerized hot mix plant and laid using mechanical self propelled paver and rolled and compacted with 8 to 12 tonne power roller to uniform surfaces with requiredcamber and gradient complete all as specified and as directed.Note:- Semi dense asphaltic bituminous concrete shall be designedas per design mix.Contractor shall quote his unit rate considering the bitumen contents as 5.5 %. Any variation in binder content on minus side shall be adjusted at the rateof₹67.00 per KG of binder.No adjustment in price shall be made if the variation is on plus side. 17 Supply and fixing cat eye solar reflective type of metal body alloy of size 100mm x 100mm x 20mm with PAMA striplens reflector of odel No. DA 972.0 fixed with and incl MS stud of suitable size as per manufactures instructions complete all as specified and as directed. 18 M & L for cement concrete M7.5 (Nominal Mix) using 40 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate 75 mm thick in sub base for laying tiles, pavings, floorings etc. complete all as specified and as directed. 19 M & L for cement concrete in foundation, filling and mass concrete in M7.5(Nominal Mix) using 40 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate complete all as specified and as directed. 20 M & L for RCC M15 (Nominal Mix) using 20 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate as in walls, retaining walls, basement walls, ballast walls and the like; any thickness; above top of footings; including attached pilasters and buttresses complete all as specified and as directed. 21 M & L for RCC M15 (Nominal Mix) using 20 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate as in foundations, including rafts, footings, foundation beams; plinth beams; bases for columns, etc.; basement slabs, under-reamed piles and mass concrete complete all as specified and as directed. 22 M & L for formwork to sides of concrete foundations, footings, bases of columns, raft and raft beams, sides and soffits (if any) of foundation and plinth beams; and similar work; vertical or to batter for rough finished flat surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and as directed. 23 M & L for formwork to faces of walls, retaining walls, abutments, parapets and staircase railings and similar work including attached pilasters, buttresses, etc.; vertical or to batter for fair finished curved surfaces of concrete complete all as specified and as directed. 24 M & L for mild steel TMT bars 10 mm dia and over, cut to length, bent to shape required, including hooking ends and binding with and including mild steel wire (annealed) not less than 0.9 mm dia or securing with clips and including welding has to be done with minimum 20 cm over lap for new and old of any height complete all as specified and as directed. 25 M & L for precast cement concrete solid block masonry of grade C(5.0) with concrete M 10 (Nominal Mix) using 20 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate exceeding 10 cm in width and set in cement mortar (1:6) complete all as specified and as directed. 26 M & L for walling (curved on plan to a mean radius exceeding 6 metre) of random rubble, uncoursed, well bonded, bedded and solidly hearted built in cement mortar (1:4) complete all as specified and as directed. 27 M&L for 15mm thick renderingon stone masonry or other than fair faces of brick work in CM 1:6 complete all as specified and as directed. 28 M&L for preparing of newly plastered wallsurface andapplying two coats of cement base paint with auto roller for making the surface uniform over a coat of alkali resistance primer including filling of holes and cracks with suitable material like putty or POP complete all as specified and as directed. 29 M&L Chequered cement concrete tiles 30cm x 30cm x 25mm thick, set, jointed and pointed ineat cement slurry in floors with grey pigments cement and pigments and including 15 mm thick screed bed in cement sand mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed. 30 Providing and laying 80mm thick factory made chamfered edge cement concrete paver block of M-30 grade with approved colour, design & pattern as in footpath, parks, lawns, drive ways or light traffic parking etc., of required strength, thickness & size/ shape, made by table vibratory method using PU mould, laid in required colour & pattern over and including 50mm thick compacted bed of coarse sand, compacting and proper embedding/ laying of inter locking paver blocks into the sand bedding layer through vibratory compaction by using plate vibrator, filling the joints with fine sand and cutting of paver block as per required size and pattern, finishing and sweeping extra sand; complete all as specified and as directed. 31 S & F of PVC (SWR) as per IS 13592: 2013 single socketed soil waste pipes in any length with rubber ring joints, 110 mm dia, laid in trenches complete all as specified and directed. 32 Supplying and laying reinforced concrete pipes with collars, 300 mm internal diameter, class NP2, laid and jointed with stiff mixture of cement mortar (1:2) complete all as specified and as directed. 33 M & L for concrete bed to drain pipes of internal diameter 300 mm, in cement concrete M 10(Nominal Mix) using 40 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate including packing under and haunching against the sides of pipes complete all as specified and as directed. 34 Material and labour for preparing bituminous surfaces of road and marking 2.5mm thick centre lines stop line dashe arrow etc and the likeexceeding 10cm wide on road pavement with hot applied thermo plastic road marking paint of approved colour conforming to BS 3262-1989 with special applicator machine all as per manufacturers instruction complete all as specified and directed. 35 S & F in repair metal tubular delineators (road way indicators) made out of ABS round body fitted with 2 Nos of 65 mm dia highly reflectivereflectors made out of PMMA and mounted on 45/50 mm mild steel pipe of 600 mm height duly power coated and thermo plastic elastomers 3 bands of green, red and yellow reflector radium tape of 25 mm wide strip with anti theft steel net for reflector protection including embedded 200 mm below ground level including excavation and PCC M15(Nominal Mix) (150x150x300mm) with using 20 mm graded stone aggregate in foundationand making good surface complete all as specified and as directed. 36 Supply and fixing in repair solar cat eye aluminum alloy shall (100% water proofing design according to 65) of size 125mm x 125mm x 25mm (shank 65mm) of high efficiency Mono rystafie solar panel 2.4V/ 0.3 watt one NI-ed rechargeable battery (1.2V/ 1600MA) consisting of super bright LED with 10,000 to 18,000 mcd, 3 pieces each side and total 6 pieces are used for high brightness and backup for 12 hours completed as per manufactures instructions etc complete all as specified and as directed. 37 Supply and fix ABS plastic PU material rubber speed bump black and yellow colour of size 500 mm X 350 mm X 74 mm with both side aluminium plated high reflective reflectors anti skid UV resistance moisture and temperature using anchor boolt and epoxy mortar grout complete all as specified and directed. 38 S&F in repair traffic convex mirror of of 80cm dia having 130 degree viewing angle made of polycarbonate material , brim and back holding plate is made of metal/FRB along with pole mounted brackets and pole 60mm dia, min height 1.5m made with galvanised steel pipe (medium grade) duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide primer fixed to the ground by means of PCC 1:2:4 type B2 (using 40mm dia graded stone aggregate) in foundation/filling (size 50cmx50cmx60cm) all as specified and as and as directed.
