Tender For Repair Maintenance Of Vcbs Transformers Ht Cable And Connected Items At Af Stn Patiala Under Ge Af Ambala.; 1 Excavation in trenches, not exceeding 1.5mtr wide & not exceeding 1.5mtr in depth; for foundation, laying/taking out pipes/cables etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. not exceeding 10sqm on plan & not exceeding 1.5mtr in depth and getting out, in soft/loose type of soil complete all as specified & directed. 2 Returning filling in including spreading levelling watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick each in soft/loose type of soil complete all as specified & directed. 3 Removal of excavated soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mtr & depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 mtr above the starting point complete all as specified & directed. 4 M&L sand cushioning to cable with a layer of sand 8 cm deep before laying the cable and 15 cmdeep after laying the cable (punned down to 18 cm depth after laying and stretching of cable ) complete all as specified & directed. 5 Supply & laying un-reinforced precast concrete cable cover , Class HVP type-1 with flat, size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm, laid flatfor protection of cable, adjacent to each other, perpendicular to central axis of cable complete all as specified & directed. 6 M&L double wall corrugated (DWC) HDPE pipe, outer dia 120mm, having corrugations on the outer surface and plain at inner surface, confirming to IS 14930(Part I & II) as in trenches/under road/under floor including cutting road/floor and making good wherever necessary or fixed to wall/pole with fixing arrangement for cable protection complete all as specified & directed. Note: Excavation & Earth work shall be measured & paid seperately. 7 M&L boring/augering of holes under road, pavement, taxi track, hardstanding for passing/crossing pipes/cables upto size 80mm dia/bore at suitable depth (not below than 600mm) byany means using necessary machinery / equipments complete without damaging the surface and removing excavated soil /material to a distance not exceeding 50mtr including supply & inserting GI pipe 80mm bore medium grade complete all as specified & directed.Note: One RM of boring & one RM of GI pipe shall be measured as one unit. 8 M&L plain cement concrete (PCC) 1:4:8, type D-2, using40mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in foundations, filling and mass concrete etc. complete all as specified & directed. 9 M&L plain cement concrete (PCC) 1:2:4, type B-1, using20mm graded mechanically crushed stone aggregates as in coping to pole etc. including necessary formwork to exposed surface finished even & smooth complete all as specified &directed. 10 Taking out / down faulty, unserviceable 11KV HT UG cable from trenches/duct/ HT poles, nominal cross sectional area from 95 sqmm to 120 Sqmm including disconnecting of cable and taking out PCC covers of any description complete allas specified & directed. Notes: (i) Excavation & Earth work shall be measured & paid separately.(ii) Serviceable cable covers/bricks will be kept aside for re-use and the unserviceable one shall be credited to contractor. 11 Supply, laying, jointing, testing & commissioning heavy duty, HT 11 KV ( E),XLPE insulated cable with aluminium conductor, screened with extruded semi conducting layer, insulation screening with copper tape cover laid up with PVC (ST-2) extruded inner sheathed GI strip armoured PVC (ST-2) out sheathed, ISI marked confirming to IS-7098 (Part-II), Size cross sectional area 95 Sqmm & 3 core laid specified & directed. 21 Disconnecting electric connections of underground HT cable,11 KV, any size/type, from both sides and locating/detecting of pin point fault in cable with fault locating machine comprising impulse generator, acoustic fault locator & reflectometer (Laptop based) in the entire length with modern fault detector equipment by expert Engineers including reconnecting & commissioning the cable to make it functionalcomplete all as specified & directed.Notes: (i) The work will be executed after obtaining proper shutdown from main power house after liasoning with Engineer-in-charge.(ii) The fault location machine / equipments shall be arranged as early as possible by contractor but not later than 12 hours after intimation from AGE/JE concerned , failing which a penalty of Rs. 500/- every 12 hours for every job shall be leived.(iii) Excavation and Earthwork shall be measured & paid seperately. 22 S&F in repair cable route indicator made of mild steel plate mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enamelled white, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour, fixed with MS clamps, bolts and nuts on pole, for HT(11/33 KV) of 25cm x 20cm size confirming to IS 2551 complete all as specified & directed. 27 M&L Servicing/checking/setting of Relay of 11KV SF6 breaker and calibration by primary injection and secondary injection including Service Cleaning of 11KV CB Limb, Cleaning & Lubrication of Mechanism, Cleaning & Crack observation of Porcelain Parts, Tightness Check of Electrical Control Wiring, checking of SF 6 Gas pressure(fill if required) including IR Testing, Coil Resistance Test, Operation Test Auto/Manual, Space heater and Indication Lamp Check complete all as specified & directed.Notes :- (i) Minor parts shall deemed to be included in quoted rates however major Spare parts shall be measured & paid seperately.(ii) The above job will be carried out at perodicity of six month (i.e first time within one (iv) Oil testing oftransformers deemed to be included in the rate quoted. 47 Material and labour for checking of LT & HT side of transformer and replacement of burnt or heated lugs/nuts & bolts, checking oil level, checking silica gel, checking jumpers and GOD and tightening if found loose complete fully fucctional of transformer complete all as specified & directed. 48 De-hydration & filtration of transformer oil by using dehydration and filtration plant by means of Ultra High Vaccum double stage machine to remove impurities from oil such as moisture, dirt, air and other gases at site of installation in running condition of transformer including testing the oil before and after centrifuging from top and bottom of transformer to achieve the Break Down Voltage(BDV) value minimum 60KV at 2.5mm gap between electrode withstand for one minute including filling in transformer of any capacity complete all as specified & directed.Notes:-(i) Dehydration will be carried out at site in presence of MES rep and contractor will submit the dehydration report of each transformer. Notes:- On testing if the desired earth resistance(i.e. less than 5 ohm) is not obtained, earthing will be generated at No extra cost, till the desired earth resistance is obtained. 59 M&L preparation of surfaces and painting of steel tubular poles upto 1.5 mtr height from pedestal, with two coats ofsynthetic enamel paint in 30 cm wide strip (five strips), painting pattern shall be as per Airforce colour code including painting of pole coping with black paint and writing pole numbers with white paint on black circular base including marking of HT/LT withPainting ofpolecross arms bracket with two coats of aluminum paint over & including one coat of red oxideprimercomplete all as specified & directed. 60 Disconnecting HT/LT cables & Earthing connectionsof burnt /defective transformer of capacity 63 KVA to 160 KVA, 11KV/433 volts, 3 phase, any make,from 2/4pole structure / floor/platform mounted /CSS,taking down from site of installation carefuly & transporting the same to workshop for repair, opening, draining out transformer oil, dismantling complete & taking out core assembly & removing burntout windings, cleaning /washing of tank removing the dirt sludge and sticky materials from all parts of the transformerincluding core tank and cooling tubes, removal of damaged parts, dehydrating the core assembly, re-assembling after replacement of damaged parts of the transformer after repairs,making connections and filling dehydradated/fresh transformer oil and testing for all type of tests(routine test & full load test) including transportation back & reinstallation/connection of transformer at site complete all as specified & directed.Notes:- (i) Minor parts shall deemed to be included in quoted rates however major Spare parts shall be measured & paid seperately. All parts/components replaced shall be identical to those specified by original manufacturer. (ii) Taking out old/burnt winding of transformer included in quoted rates, however new winding shall be measured & paid separately. (iii) The draining of old transformer oil is deemed to included in quoted rates butfilling new transformer oil and dehydration & refilling of old transformer oil shall be measured & paid separately. 61 M&L winding of transformer any capacity at HT/LT side with super enamelled copper wire of gauge & weight as exists, varnishing & drying by vaccum impregnating, provindinginsulating material,fixing the coil in the position in core assembly and making connection as per original pattern complete all as specified & directed. 62 S&F in replacement PVC air breather of make & specifications as exist at site filled and with & including silica gel suitable for upto 100 KVA capacity transformer complete all as specified & directed. 63 Description all as per BOQ item No. 62.00 here-in-above but exceeding 100 KVA & upto 163 KVA capacity transformer. 64 S&F in replacement temperature gauge 0-100 degree celcius range round type complete all as specified & directed. 65 Repair and maintenance of existing transformer plinth suitable for installation of 120 to 160 KVA transformer, including complete electrical disconnection of existing transformer, relocation and lifting of transformer from plinth, including complete repair of plinth with proper civil works including brick work, PCC 1:2:4 type B2 using 20mm graded stone aggregate as in hard standing including painting to fencing work complete all as specified & directed.For Credit Schedule, refer tender documents. The amount of credit schedule shall be deducted from total quoted amount of BOQ to arrive contract sum.
