Tender For Periodical Services To Technical Area Zone A Area At Af Stn Sonegaon, Nagpur.; 1 M & L for complete removal of existing treatment by scrapping with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 80 Grit having dia of 7/9 to make the surface free from dust, loose paint etc. by skilled labour complete all as specified and as directed. 2 M & L for waterproof cement based putty @ 1 Kg (undiluted) Per Sqm. of average thickness 1 mm over the plastered/old painted wall after scrapping to prepare the surface even and smooth complete and sanding of the putty surface with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 240 Grit or above to make the surface free from dust etc. by skilled labour as per following steps: -Step - 1 Mix the putty powder by adding water as per manufacturer instructions and mix it with putty mixer with the mixing capacity of min 2.5 kg putty per minute.Step - 2 Apply the first coat the prepared mixture with the help of fully automatic airless spray machine of putty application having flow speed of max 6 ltrs per minutes with a maximum pressure 3300 PSI.Step - 3 Allow 6-8 hrs time to dry the putty surface. 3 M & L for one coat of acrylic water based interior grade primer @ 0.8 ltr (undiluted)/10 Sqm diluted with water in 1:1 ratio to be applied with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of Min 1 ltr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI and allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface for painting of subsequent coats complete all as specified and as directed. 4 M & L for applying two coats of oil bound distemper using airless spray technology with max working pressure of 3300 PSI and capable of operating single spray gun with a max material hose length of 30 Mtr the spray machine should be of reputed manufacturer with pro guard technology and capability of tracking pressure and paint usage and certified by paint manufacturer and as mentioned in PS and accessories for applying distemper should be able to spray in hard to reach areas and penetration of distemper on the surface complete all as specified and directed. Note: - Sanding of surface to be done by mechanical sander with 1500 - 2700 RPM, with internal dust extraction system for clean environment certified by paint manufacturer. 5 M & L for two coats of smooth interior acrylic emulsion with rich matt finish having VOC less than 50 grams per ltr complying LEEDS criteria @1 ltrs (undiluted) /10 Sq Mtrs diluted with water in 2:1 ratio applied over priming coat with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of min 1 ltr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI and allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in both the coats of paint as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and as directed. 6 M & L for two coats of smooth interior acrylic emulsion with Texture finish having VOC less than 50 grams per ltr complying LEEDS criteria @1 ltrs (undiluted) /10 sq mtrs diluted with water in 2:1 ratio applied over priming coat with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of min 1 ltr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI and allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in both the coats of paint as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and as directed. 7 M & L for preparation of new plastered surfaces of walls and applying two coats of oil bound distemper using Airless spray technology with max working pressure of 3300 PSI and capable of operating single spray gun with a max material hose length of 30 mtr the spray machine should be of reputed manufacturer with pro guard technology and capability of tracking pressure and paint usage and certified by paint manufacturer and as mentioned in PS and accessories for applying distemper should be able to spray in hard to reach areas and penetration of distemper on the surface complete all as specified and as directed. (a) The work pertaining to periodical services & Water Proofing shall be executed from authorized applicator through manufacturer of which the materials i.e. Paint, Distemper, Cement base paint, Putty etc. is proposed to be used by the contractor and approved by Garrison Engineer.(b)The contractor shall upload along with the documents under Cover-I, ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ (MOU) with only one manufacturer mentioned in the contract, failing which the bid shall be liable to be rejected. 10 M & L for preparation of old surfaces (plastered or un-plastered) of walls including cornices, pilasters etc including brooming or steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss, efflorescent salts, trading oil, greasy spots and applying one coat of white wash, complete, all as specified and as directed. 11 M & L for preparation of old surfaces (plastered or un-plastered) of walls including cornices, pilasters etc including brooming or steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss, efflorescent salts, trading oil, greasy spots and applying one coat of white wash on ceiling, complete, all as specified and as directed. 12 M & L for preparation of old surfaces (plastered or un-plastered) of walls including cornices, pilasters etc including brooming or steel wire brushing, scrapping down smoke soot, moulds, moss, efflorescent salts, trading oil, greasy spots and applying two coat of white wash on wall,complete,all as specified and as directed. 13 M & L for obliterating old writing of any description, not exc 0.1 sqm with paint to match existing works complete all as specified and as directed. 14 M & L for rewriting/repainting to existing writing letters or figures not exc 30 cm height in block Roman, Italian or Indian letters including stops, comma, arrows, brackets, dashes etc on sign board (Black or yellow base) including two coats of oil paint over a coat white basesynthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed. 15 Taking down cement plaster or cement lime plaster on PCC/stone surface/brick surfaces including taking down tiles wherever required including raking out joints hacking for key scrubbing down with water etc complete all as specified and as directed. 16 M & L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 on surfaces other than fair face of brick work of walls, finished even and smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed. 17 M & L for rendering 15mm thick in cement mortar 1:4 on fair faces of brick masonry or concrete surfaces of walls, chajja, fins facia etc upto 3 stories height mixed with water proofing compound (ISI marked) @ 3% by weight of cement or as per manufacturer’s instructions, finished even & smooth without using extra cement complete all as specified and as directed.Note: - (a) Supply only water proofing compound shall be measured and paid for separately.(b) Cost of scaffolding upto 3 storied height of building for rendering is included in this item.(c) Rendering will be done in two layer. 1st layer will be 10 mm thick and 2nd layer will be 5 mm thick. 18 Supply only integral water proofing compound (ISI marked) complete all as specified and as directed. 19 M & L Preparation of old painted wooden surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed. 20 M & L Preparation of old painted steel surfaces of any description over 10 cm width or girth and applying one coat synthetic enamel paint complete all as specified and as directed. 21 M & L French polishing on surfaces of any description, width or girth including cleaning and preparing the surface including a coat of wood filler on existing work where required with two or more coats complete all as specified and as directed.
