Laying of tiles will be done with the notch trowel, plier, wedge, clips of required thickness, leveling system and rubber mallet for placing the tiles gently and easily. 16 Glazed Vitrified tiles Matt/Antiskid finish of size 17 Size of Tile 600 x 600 mm 18 ProvidingandlayingVitrified tilesindiferent sizes (thickness tobe specified by the manufacturer), with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS: 15622, of approved brand & manufacturer, in all colours and shade, in skirting, riser of steps, laid with cement based high polymer modified quick set tile adhesive (water based) conforming to IS: 15477, in average 6 mm thickness, including grouting of joints (Payment for grouting of joints to be made separately). 19 Size of Tile 600x600 mm 20 Grouting the joints of flooring tiles having joints of 3 mm width, using epoxy grout mix of 0.70 kg of organic coated filler of desired shade (0.10 kg of hardener and 0.20 kg of resin per kg), including filling / grouting and finishing complete as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. 21 Size of Tile 600x600 mm 22 Providing and laying Vitrified tiles in floor with diferent sizes (thickness to be specified by the manufacturer), with water absorption less than 0.08% and conforming to IS:15622, of approved brand & manufacturer, in all colours and shade, laid with cement based high polymer modified quick set tile adhesive (water based) conforming to IS: 15477, in average 6 mm thickness, including grouting of joints (Payment for grouting of joints to be made separately). 23 Size of Tile 600x600 mm 24 ROOFING 25 Providing and fixing precoated galvanised iron profile sheets (size, shape andpitch of corrugation as approved by Engineer-in-Charge) of total coated thickness 0.50 mm (base metal of minimum 0.45 mm thickness with total coating thickness of 0.05mm) with zinc coating 120 grams per sqm as per IS: 277, in 240 mpa steel grade, 5-7 microns epoxy primer on both side of the sheet and polyester top coat 15-18 microns. Sheet should have protective guard film of 25 microns minimum to avoid scratches during transportation and should be supplied in single length upto 12 metre or as desiredby Engineer-in-charge. The sheet shallbe fixed using self drilling /self tapping screws of size (5.5x 55 mm) with EPDM seal, complete upto any pitch in horizontal/ vertical or curved surfaces, excluding the cost of purlins, rafters and trusses and including cutting to size and shape wherever required. 26 FINISHING 27 12 mm cement plaster of mix: 28 1:4(1 cement: 4 fine sand) 29 Finishing with Epoxy paint (two or more coats) at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturers specifications including appropriate priming coat, preparation of surface, etc. complete. 30 On steel work 31 Wall painting with premium acrylic emulsion paint of interior grade, having VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content less than 50 grams/ litre of approvedbrandandmanufacture,includingapplyingadditionalcoats wherever required to achieve even shade and colour. 32 Two coats 33 Applying priming coats with primer of approved brand and manufacture, having low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound ) content. 34 With water thinnable cement primer on wall surface having VOC content less than 50 grams/litre 35 REPAIRS TO BUILDING 36 Repairs to plaster of thickness 12 mm to 20 mm in patches of area 2.5 sq.meters and under, including cutting the patch in proper shape, raking out joints and preparing and plastering the surface of the walls complete, including disposal of rubbish to the dumping ground, all complete as per direction of Engineer-in-Charge. 37 With cement mortar 1:4 (1 cement : 4 fine sand) 38 Providing and fixing double scaffolding system (cup lock type) on the exterior side, up to seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre, horizontal & vertical tubes joining with cup & lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S. clamps and M.S. staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it there after. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with the building etc wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and approval of Engineer-in-charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purpose. The payment will be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding.Note: - This item to be used for maintenance work judicially, necessary deduction for scaffolding in the existing item to be done. 39 Repair to existing RCC structure including replacing corroded steel bars and fixing new additional TMT steel bars using welding , drilling, fixingto existing structure etc. as required. 40 surface roughly cleaned and dry fill in the cracks with suitable putty, first apply the resin to the surface well spread and pressing, applying a second layer of resin to smooth finish for forming the whole to a solid mass including cost and conveyance of all materials and labour charges etc. complete as per the instructions of the dept. officers 50 Providing and laying water proofing treatment over the concrete surface by applying cement based two component polymer modified water proofing slurry coating (SIKA Topseal 109 or equivalent)after cleaning the surface free from scale, rust, grease, oil etc. preparing the surface to be true and flat and saturatedmixing the liquid (A) and powder (B) components in the required ratio, applying in required number of coats with a suitable interval for hardening in between and finally finished by rubbing down with a soft, dry sponge including protecting the applied surface from direct sunlight and strong wind and curing by gunny bags or polythene sheeting upto 5 days etc. complete as per manufacturer recommendations. 51 NEW TECHNOLOGIES AND MATERIALS 52 Chipping of unsound/weak concrete material from slabs, beams, columns etc. with manual Chisel and/ or by standard power driven percussion type orof approved make including tapering of all edges, making square shoulders of cavities including cleaning the exposed concrete surface and reinforcement with wire brushes and necessary supporting arrangements for propping including providing I section or similar sections to support existing beams or the structures to ensure structural integrity during chipping and disposal of debris for all lead and lifts all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge 53 50 mm average thickness 54 Cleaning of reinforcement from rust from the reinforcing bars to give it a total rust freesteel surface by using alkaline chemical rust remover of approved make with paint brush and removing loose particles after 24 hours of its application with wire brush and thoroughly washing with water and allowing it to dry, all complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge. 55 Bars upto 12 mm diameter 56 Bars above 12 mm diameter 57 Providing, mixing and applying bonding coat of approved adhesive on chipped portion of RCC as perspecifications and direction of Engineer- In-charge complete in all respect. 58 Epoxy bonding adhesive
