Tender For Repairs/ Maintenance Of Security Lights, Garden Lights Gate Lights And Connected External Lighting Works At Af Station Gwalior.; 1 Labour only for checking the serviceability of different spares/ components/ parts of High mast light fittings (LED, HPSV, HPMV, Metal Halide fittings etc, any wattage/ capacity) of any description and in any position, replacement of un-serviceable/ damaged/ broken part(s) either in single or in combination, re-assembling the fittings and making the light fittings serviceable, fixing the fittings in position, cleaning acrylic/glass cover connecting to electric supply and its testing on installationetc complete all as specified and directed. 2 Labour only for checking the serviceability of different spares/ components/ parts of security/ light fittings (LED, HPSV, HPMV, Metal Halide fittings etc, any wattage/capacity) of any description and in any position, replacement of un-serviceable/damaged/ broken part(s) either in single or in combination, re-assembling the fittings and making the light fittings serviceable, fixing the fittings in position, cleaning acrylic/glass cover connecting to electric supply and its testing on installationetc complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. NOTES FOR SCH `A’ ITEM NO 1 & 2:-(i) Fixing charges for Spare Parts of the new & old replaced part(s) is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor for above item and cost of new parts shall be measured and paid separately as supply only against respect items of Sch ‘A’. (ii) Necessary T&P i.e. ladder, tools,Vehicles etc required for checking and making the light fittings in serviceable conditions, its fixing in position and testing shall be arranged by the contractor at his own cost for checking and fixing of street light fittings/security light fittings of any description on poles / on walls / on pillars etc i.e. in any position at site.(iii)Required screws, insulating tapes, wire, gaskets and other minor items excluding the required spare parts for repairing and making the street light fittings/security light fittings in serviceable condition, will be arranged & supplied by the contractor and cost of which is deemed to be included in the rates quoted by the contractor in above respective item. (iv)Contractor shall be paid only one time the labour charges quoted above in Schedule `A items for a particular fitting repaired irrespective of the number of times labour and resources arranged by him to check the serviceability of the fittings and replacement of unserviceable/ defective parts in order to maintain the fitting in serviceable/working condition.(v) Contractor’s quoted rates for Schedule `A item No 1 is deemed to include for inspection/checking the serviceability of the fittings in position or by taking down as per site requirement, removing the damaged unserviceable / broken parts, fixing the new parts as required, fixing the fittings in same position or the other, connecting the fittings with electric source and testing of fittings as directed. (vi) The accredit rep of Contractor shall daily report to JE E/M and receive the complaints and job card of U/S street lights on each working day and detail his electirician for repair/rectification and make the street lights in serciceable condition. (vii) If his rep fails to report concerned JE,a panelty @ Rs. 500/- per day shall be recovered.The US/defective each street lights shall be got repaired and make functional within two days from the issue of job card, failing to which Rs. 50/- per light per day shall be recovered from the contractor as penalty.(viii) All security equipments will be provided by the contractor to the workers with out no extra cost.
